Crusade 1: Enter the Cutie

[Action A: 5725 Cunningham, locked to housemates]

[Sweetie Belle woke up in a doghouse which was unusual for her, seeing as she was not a dog but a pony. She found this especially odd as she had fallen asleep in her bed back in Ponyville. Now she was somewhere else and she didn't know where. A moment later a loud sound came from the doghouse]

Waaaaaaaaaaah. Where am I?

[Action B: Around Mayfield]

[Sweetie Belle is out wandering the streets looking for someone or something she knows.]

Um. Hello. Anybody?

[Action C: 7135 Brooks]

[Sweetie Belle stood outside Rarity's house. It had taken her a while to find her sister's house. Unable to reach the doorknob Sweetie Belle tried to reach her sister the best way she knew how.]

Rarity. Rarity. RARITYYYYYYYY!

[Riza's sharp hearing had her catch the shouting from the doghouse outside, and she grabbed her gun and immediately headed towards it. She hadn't caught what the unusual voice had said, just the shouting.]

[Outside, she leveled her gun and aimed and then--oh. It's a pony.]

[One had lived in her home before, with Hol. But one can never be sure with Mayfield, so the gun stays aimed and ready. Just in case.]

Hello?

[No way Kaylee wouldn't notice that...]

Well ain't you just the cutest!

[Not Rarity, but Ako's outside mowing the lawn when she notices Sweetie Belle there. Shutting off the mower, she leaned on the fence.] Looking for the neighbors?

[The window to the house opens up, and Rarity's head comes poking out. She seems to be wearing that standard expression of vague annoyance that comes with dealing with her little sister.]

Sweetie Belle! I'm very busy right now, and I'm afraid I don't have time to play with you. I've told you a hundred times not to interrupt me while I'm working. I know you get bored, and I can certainly appreciate that, but you can't always expect everypony to be able to simply drop everything just like that simply because you can't find anything to do to entertain yourself.

[huff]

Really now. Go run along and play--

[And right in mid-rant, Rarity seems to suddenly register where they are and what's actually going on here. She blinks a few times before calling out the window.]

...Sweetie Belle! Stay right there, I'll be right out!

[The window closes amid a flourish of sparkly unicorn magic. The back door opens mere moments later, and Rarity comes running out of the house at a full gallop. Enjoy the big-sisterly affection and nuzzling now, Sweetie Belle, before Rarity remembers how much of a pain she thinks you are.]

Oh, Sweetie Belle! My adorable little sister! How I've missed you!

[Applejack turns a corner and stops in mid-trot when she spots the tiny pony.]

Sweetie Belle?!

[Surprise, shock, and then horror cross over her face as she realizes that it is Sweetie Belle and that the young'un is trapped her in Mayfield now too. She quickly regains her composure though and hurries over to help out the young filly.]

Sweetie Belle, are you okay?! Did you just get here? Have you met any of the other ponies that are here?

[She pauses a movement and looks around nervously before asking one final question:]

...Did any of the other crusaders come with you?

[Pinkie's just bouncing along the street, minding her own business, calling out hellos to everypony she sees...

...and then she spots Sweetie Belle.]

SWEETIE BELLE! HIIIIIIIIIIII!

[Sweetie Belle runs towards her sister, feeling elated at finally having found her.]

Rarity, I'm so glad you're here. It's so strange in this town.

[Sweetie Belle straightens up and tries to look brave like a big pony]

Not that I was scared or nothing

[Hearing someone outside, Sweetie Belle wiped her tears away and poked her head out of the doghouse]

Hello. Who are you?

[Sweetie Belle blushes at the compliment]

Thank you miss. Can you help me find my sister? She's white with purple hair and she's a bit bossy, and she gets mad if you move her stuff. Have you seen her?

I ain't seen her, but how 'bout I help ya look. Guessin' you're new?

Pinkie Pie, thank goodness you're here. I woke up in a doghouse and I don't know where I am and .. and

[Sweetie Belle starts tearing up and sniffling]

and I still don't have a cutie mark and I can't find Rarity

I just got here today and I haven't seen anyone else yet.

[She perks up]

Oh. Is Applebloom here, maybe she can help me find Rarity and we can both earn our explorer cutie mark

I'm looking for my sister. I think she lives this house, do you know her?

Haven't met her yet but I'm sure the residents'll be up soon.

[Sweetie Belle is upset! THIS WILL NOT DO. Careful there, Pinkie's coming in for a hug.]

Oh, don't worry, don't worry! It'll be okay, Sweetie Belle! I can take you to Rarity if you need me to--she's here, too!

This is a place called Mayfield! It's REALLY weird and I woke up in a doghouse too, and look! It's so weird it made my Cutie Mark go away!

[Showing off her own newly-blank flank.]

It is a strange town. And dangerous too, I'm afraid.

[Rarity frowns, clearly worried but also happy to see her sister again.]

Please, come inside. I'll try to explain what's going on here.

Ah don't know if Applebloom is here...

[And she really hopes she isn't either, but Applejack feels a little guilty worrying about that when she should be helping out Sweetie Belle right now.]

Ah do know that besides me, Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Dash, and your sister are here though. You want me to show you where she lives? Ah can fill you in a bit about the town too while on the way.

[Sweetie Belle follows Rarity inside, all the while trying to tell if her sister is worried over something real or if she's just being Rarity.]

So where are we anyway?

[Sweetie Belle sniffs as she regains her composure slightly.]

You lost your cutie mark. How does that even happen?

[Sweetie Belle's mood improves suddenly as she is struck with a great idea]

Hey! If you lost your cutie mark you should join the cutie mark crusaders.

Thanks Applejack I'm glad I have that at least some of my friends are here.

[As they walk to Rarity's house Sweetie Belle sticks to Applejack like glue not wanting to get lost again]

Yeah I just woke up here today. My name is Sweetie Belle, what's you name?

Thank you. I'm Sweetie Belle.

[It takes a second but Sweetie Belle notices that more than one resident was mentioned.]

Does someone else live here too?

Our neighbor Tsukasa, and Aurora, but I didn't know it had gotten any new people till now.

(Oh. Dear. Sweet. Celestia.)

Sweetie Belle?!

(Immediately rushing on over because this is really not the place for a filly like her to go around on her own. Forget the Everfree Forest; Mayfield's the real threat.)

Are you alright? Have you found Rarity yet?
