So hey guys! How's it going? I just kinda realized I've been neglecting my... I dunno, civic duty to generally be a nice guy and check up on my friends and stuff and see how everything's going. I hear there's a Prom coming up! Sounds like a riot. You can totally plan on seeing me there. Better put on your best dancing shoes because I am a hard man to follow once I get on the dance floor let me tell you.

[Action: Early Afternoon, the pharmacy]

[Wally West: Pharmacist is filling prescriptions and helping customers like any good pharmacist should. He may even be whistling happily. He's just that cheerful. Good lord.

He may be sneaking peeks at the clock every now and then, though. He must be getting antsy.]

[Action: Late Afternoon, ALL OVER TOWN]

[If you're paying attention you might notice a scarlet blur whizzing down the street. It's Wally, in full Flash getup, and he's on patrol. Basically this just means he's running around. If he see something SUSPICIOUS he'll totally pull up and check it out. If you shout at him he'll stop and say hi! Because he's your friendly neighborhood Flash, and he's here to help. :) ]

[Action: Nelson Street]

[Wally's sitting out on the porch with the newspaper. He's not reading it. He finished it about a second after he picked it up, and it was boring. Now he's crumpling it up into balls and tossing them at Rainbow Dash's cloud house.

HE'S BORED NOW. OOPS. It's been really quiet around the house since Foster left.]

[Sonic is getting rather frustrated. The skateboard, while quick on it's own, is not nearly close to what he's used to. So, he's sulking for the moment. But, his eyes will catch just barely the red blur as it comes down the street. He'll hop up immediately.]

Whoa! HEY! STOP!

[He'll try to wave down the blur before it can bypass him completely.]

[Wally immediately turns and stops directly next to... whoa hey it's a blue spikey thing.]

Hey, what's up?

Nice speed! I've never seen a human run so fast before!

[Might even rival his own speed.]

[Wally would claim that he's faster but then, speedsters always do.]

Thanks! It's kinda my thing. I'm the Flash, the fastest man alive! I'm a superhero back home.

[Around Town]

[Does Eddie count as "something SUSPICIOUS?" Because that's just silly. Edward's ditching work once again, about to enjoy a cigarette outside the high school before a certain scarlet streak blasts past him, the wind blowing the cigarette right out of his hand.

Wally.]

[EDDIE IS ALWAYS SUSPICIOUS.

Also they haven't talked in a while. So a half a second after he passes, Wally is back and standing next to Eddie, holding the cigarette out to him.

Yeah, he totally caught it. Feel free to be impressed.]

Hi Eddie, it's been a while.

[Eddie quirks an eyebrow and smirks. All right, that is kind of impressive. He reaches out to swipe the cigarette back, nodding in greeting.]

Flash. [True to his word, he's savvy enough not to address Wally by his first name. Secret identities and all. He takes a drag.] Out for a stroll, I take it?

[Flash snaps off a little, casual salute.]

Seein' the sights, makin' sure all the houses are in one piece, checking out highly suspicious individuals, the usual.

[Nelson Street]

[A black blur skids to a halt just in front of Casa Flash 'n Dash, and... Oh. Usually whenever Shadow stops by Dash's house, there aren't really other people outside. But no matter. The hedgehog, unconcerned, marches along the driveway, moving past Wally and headed in the direction of the cloud house.]

[Hang on buster you're not getting past Wally without at least saying hello.]

Hey! You a friend of Dash?

[He stops in his tracks, glancing over his shoulder at Wally.]

...Something like that. [Turning to face him fully.] Is she home?

[He looks up at the house.]

I think so, but then I haven't seen her in a bit, so maybe not.

Around Town

[Harley is making a display of Gotham city in the toyshop window. Is that suspicious enough?

One of the teddy bears has bat ears and is swinging down to the streets.]

[That is so suspicious. Wally skids to a halt in front of the window, admiring it. He doesn't see Harley at first, he's too busy grinning at the BatBear.]

[BatBear is being joined by a stuffed Robin in a cape. Oh hey. She waves out at him.]

[Oh. Hey. He waves back with a grin. I mean Valentine's was a little awkward but no hard feelings...

...except he's in Flash getup now and she doesn't know right okay smooth Flash, smooth.

Oh well whatever. He's going to point at the display and mouth "Looks great" because it totally does.]

Late Afternoon

[That scarlet blur zooming by as Ted steps out of the hardware store sure looks familiar...]

Flash?!

[fasterthan]

[Oh hey someone knows him that's cool.

The blur skids back and Flash grins.]

Hey there! How's it going?

[beetlemania]

Man, I wasn't expecting to see you here...

[Ted has not realized that this is not "his" Flash. Awkward.]

action - around town

[since the incident with Audrey on Mother's Day, Once-ler is determined not to let the potential of fiery, vehicular death stop him from conquering his unease and learning how to drive. as mildly terrifying as it was the first time around, he's gotta admit that there was something exhilarating about being behind the wheel. in a sense, it was a new kind of freedom. he's decided that he'd like to recapture that, but like any new talent, he needs to practice.

so, as Flash goes running around town, he might see this one car that isn't quite like the others. for one thing, it's swerving a little. and it just might be in the wrong lane entirely.

as far as Once-ler is concerned, he's doing just fine.]

[Well. That wasn't exactly what Wally was thinking of when he was thinking "suspicious," but it certainly goes down firmly in the "not good" column.

He slows down to run next to the car at its speed and taps on the window.]

[thankfully, he's not driving that fast (small miracle, right?) and, to his credit, he is trying to keep an eye on the mirrors. as such, he spots Wally immediately; the guy pretty much sticks out like a sore thumb anyway. he'll at least give him a small courtesy and roll down his window with one hand as he keeps the other one on the wheel.]

- If you're gonna mug me, you're out of luck. I think I have some gum, but that's it!

[Eventually one of those paper balls goes sailing right back at Wally, followed by a pony head peaking out of the clouds.]

Heya. How's it hangin'?

[Wally catches the paper because... super fast reflexes yes. He grins.]

It's going okay! Just wanted to make sure you were still alive way up there.
