[Action - 1125 Taylor]
[Early in the morning, before school, Marisa takes the time to place a multilayer ward about her residence and its yard. It has three specific wards, powerful wards - one each to bar The Major, Bazett, and any troll with tyrian purple blood from the property. There is also a subtler ward cast that will target any non-resident (Merem isn't affected) that tries to significantly harm another while on the property through a combination binding/paralyzing effect. Those with a strong enough magic ability could break the wards, but the general feeling about them is that it would be a bad idea with how well they are woven.
The casting can easily be felt by anyone with the slightest bit of magical sensing.]
[Action - School]
[Marisa is sitting in the cafeteria, completely ignoring her yummy homemade lunch, and seems to be working on a map of sorts. Her brow furrows as she wads up the paper and throws it at the nearby garbage can - missing it - and starts over again. She's going to end up going through a lot of paper at this rate.]
[Phone]
So... I can't remember where everyone lives. Like the addresses and how to get to some place. [It pains her to have to admit this.] I need you all, if you're my friends or allies or just people I like to bug - especially everyone from Gensokyo - to remind me.
Okay?

Does your world really have knights? And if so, are they all tools like her. [Marisa so very much likes her new insult now that she has someone to direct it at. Thank the trolls for educating the witch on what a 'tool' is.]

The Holy Church does have a branch of knights. They are dispatched in groups on missions at the order of their superiors, but it's a very rigid and organized unit that prides on order. No one lacks discipline so thoroughly as to throw around threats carelessly like she has. As for the Mages' Association... I'm not sure, honestly. I don't think so, but that woman, she's Irish. [And seems to have some sort of relation to Lancer...?] How knowledgeable are you on epics and lore of old? I do believe she may be referencing the Red Branch Knights of the Ulster Cycle. As for how that organization operates however, I wouldn't know so well. You'll have to ask someone else.

[Man, Marisa has some of the best school lunches with all the stuff Ciel makes.]
I told her to use the damn phone if she needs to talk to you. That's why they're there, right? [eyeroll]

[Yes one of the main reasons why Ciel WOULD be home is to cook and clean... The house is pretty meticulous She's a good housewaifu ok. Either way, agreeing with Marisa there, she sees no problem with this.]

[Brown paper bags are AWESOME for lunches. She needs some cookies too. Gotta have dessert to rub into the other students' faces.]
The ward's not bothering you, is it? It should just be a low hum in the back of your mind that's easy to tune out.

Not at all. It's a little bit excessive, but I'm not unused to these sort of things. [a beat. She wonders for an instant to ask about if the wards will vanish if Marisa gets droned, but... decides to withhold that after all.
And yes there are always cookies in the house] Would you like anything specific for dinner tonight? Spring is really almost here, the selections at the grocery store may get richer soon too. [just a thought!]

[She folds the bag up and grabs the orange juice container, clearly intending to drink directly from it.]
I feel like something Japanese style for a change. All this American food is heavy. If I didn't have a hyperactive metabolism, I probably would've put on, like, five pounds already.
1/2
Ah, they're definitely... You. I can't argue against that.
2/2
I could do steamed white rice with grilled fish, there isn't miso here but making a soup similar to it should be doable. ...Or would something more general be better? Like ramen, or yakisoba noodles. In such cases, any requests for topping? [At least she's very flexible on the food front...]

Ahhhhh!
So yeah... whatever you think you can turn into Japanese style. And yeah, you do kinda make too much American stuff, but you're the Fr--European girl, so you're probably used to it.
[The witch then grabs a cheese danish, leaving the juice carton on the counter.] But these are divine, ze. Keep making 'em.
1/2
A-actually, you just had to tell me. Omuraisu and [...] curry aren't Japanese in origin, but they were still popular despite the foreign influences. [Pay no mind that she makes curry every day, it's just. For herself because she's not going to subject the rest of the house to her food obsession.] As long as you're okay with the American noodles here like spaghetti and linguini replacing what's normally used for soba or ramen noodles, they're the closest I can find. Rice balls would make for quick snacks too, if you'd prefer these as opposed to baked goods. [a beat.] Are shrimp tempuras too fattening? Or tempuras in general, I can definitely make those...
2/2
...
And chuckle faintly.] Of course, I'll try to get more varied with the pastries too. But do you really have no preference? Between vanilla, chocolate, egg custard, cream cheese, cinnamon, so on and so forth...

[Marisa takes a bit and mostly swallows before talking.] Whatever this one is gets my vote, ze. Catch you later before I get yelled at for being late to school.
[Other half of the danish is shoved into her mouth before she grabs another danish and her lunch. And then out the door she goes.
The half-full juice container is still on the counter.]

I'm lucky that my first class starts at 10 today, haha. See you later then, and take care.
[She'll stare at the door for a few seconds after Marisa shuts it close, before just putting the container back into the fridge.
...
Well, wiping the table clean is next. She still has some time for chores before needing to leave herself, but so far this is shaping out to be a decent day.]
