[Action - 1125 Taylor]
[Early in the morning, before school, Marisa takes the time to place a multilayer ward about her residence and its yard. It has three specific wards, powerful wards - one each to bar The Major, Bazett, and any troll with tyrian purple blood from the property. There is also a subtler ward cast that will target any non-resident (Merem isn't affected) that tries to significantly harm another while on the property through a combination binding/paralyzing effect. Those with a strong enough magic ability could break the wards, but the general feeling about them is that it would be a bad idea with how well they are woven.
The casting can easily be felt by anyone with the slightest bit of magical sensing.]
[Action - School]
[Marisa is sitting in the cafeteria, completely ignoring her yummy homemade lunch, and seems to be working on a map of sorts. Her brow furrows as she wads up the paper and throws it at the nearby garbage can - missing it - and starts over again. She's going to end up going through a lot of paper at this rate.]
[Phone]
So... I can't remember where everyone lives. Like the addresses and how to get to some place. [It pains her to have to admit this.] I need you all, if you're my friends or allies or just people I like to bug - especially everyone from Gensokyo - to remind me.
Okay?

Okay?

I know it was stupid...and I'm sorry! I just couldn't help being powerless anymore! Especially after Utsuho killed me...
(Reimu kind of mutters that last part in shame.)
no subject
Okuu did what?
no subject
I went to the post office so I could defend myself better next time...
no subject
Still... she launches that punch, but purposefully hits the floor next to Reimu's head instead.]
You fucking idiot. What made you even think you had a chance at stopping her? She's been here longer than me. I should kill you myself for that.
no subject
(Reimu's getting all teary-eyed right now.)
I'm sorry, Marisa...
no subject
[Marisa rolls off to the side and pulls Reimu into a hug.]
Don't do stupid shit like that again. I'm supposed to be the one that does the stupid things.
no subject
I won't scold you for the next stupid thing you do, then. Fair trade.
(But then she messes up the slightly touching moment.)
Something's been bothering me since I left the post office, though. The last thing we took care of in Gensokyo was the Yama coming down to preach to everyone, right?
no subject
[Marisa's eyes widen. How much did Reimu give to the Postman?]</i
no subject
...what?
no subject
[Marisa can't handle this right now. So she gets up and storms out of the house... only to plop down on the front steps.]
no subject
(Okay, Reimu is scared now. The post office took her memories from her? It could do that? The only youkai she could remember was Okuu, but that was for a completely different reason...
...still, she's just going to slowly open the front door and stand there. She's not sure if Marisa would want Reimu so close to her.)
...I had no idea what they would take from me. There were no specifics about what would be taken.
(Doesn't mean you didn't still sign away part of your life, Reimu.)
no subject
Marisa just wings one at Reimu. Totally harmless of a bullet as it is, she's so angry and so, so... terrified.]
no subject
So maybe Marisa doesn't want Reimu to be that close...but she still had to make it up to her. Besides...Reimu was scared, too. She can't think of anything to say that she already hasn't.)

...that's what I had to do when the Postman cursed me. I just had to... give back what I'd taken.

Don't give me this bullshit about being able to protect people; this isn't Gensokyo. You just wanted your divine crap back so you can't be killed like that again. Cause we're human. We're only supposed to ever die once.
And the fact that you've already died once - the way it felt, the way you feel when you come back - terrifies you. And you never want to feel that again.
Give it back. Get your memories back while you still can. You divine rights will be returned to you in time. I know you're lazy and this is the easy way to get them back, but suck it up and suffer like the rest of us.
1/2
2/2
...but for all of that to just up and disappear, to have to work for everything, was all new to her. She can't stand being helpless, especially after everything in Gensokyo...
...which she couldn't even remember because the three most recent years were given up. Dammit Reimu, you chose a perfect time to be at war with yourself.)
no subject
[Marisa's words were quiet and soft. It's true that she's not sure if it came down to it whether she'd be able to carry through with that threat - not with Reimu having her divine abilities back - but she would try. This wasn't the way she wanted to let everyone know she had Master Spark back but if it took a Spark to get Reimu to do it, she would.]
Those memories are worth more than what you got for them. I have... holes in my memory. Things I can't remember. It's one thing to have it happen because of an accident, but another to willingly give them up.
[Her shoulders hunch forward as she hugs her knees.]
no subject
...there was a long silence before Reimu moved or said anything. Sheepishly, she spoke up.)
...let's go to the post office.
no subject
And then she offered the miko her hand.]
...thank you.
no subject
Oh god she wasn't missing any teeth was she)Thanks, Marisa.

[Marisa pulls Reimu up onto the broom and gives her a peck on the cheek. And then she flies straight to the post office.]
