[After school lets out for the day—or a little before, Flandre was proud of how very sneaky she was—Flandre can be found clambering all over the playground again, making full use of her claws and her wings.

But she’s a bit more careful this time! She looks around before she starts sliding down things like pipes, watching for people approaching. If a person is spotted, the vampire promptly sits on her hands and furls her wings away and looks innocent.

[Flandre chirps, and flicks the ends of her wings.]

Well you can't have mine because they're mine, but why can't you get your own?

Yamame doesn't want Flanny's wings! They look pretty on you so Yamame wouldn't take them away.

I want my own! I probably won't be able to have any, though.

[The look of a brilliant idea suddenly lights across Yamame's face, and she begins to search the premises.]

[Again with the chirping--but this time Flandre follows after Yamame, wings ruffling curiously.]

What is Yamame doing?

[Yamame finds herself some sticks that seem to be of adequate quality, and she sits herself down, spinning webbing to begin her work.]

Hehehe, Flanny will see soon.

[She seems to be weaving webs around these sticks, diligently focused on the task at hand.]

[Probably from a new 90-degree angle, since Flandre's doing that now. What ARE you doing?]

[It doesn't take long for Yamame to finish her little project. Upon completing it, she applies the motley conflagration of sticks and webbing to her back.

It's like a pair of wings made from spider webs!]

Hehehe! Yamame made wings!

[Now Flandre gets it! She can't help but flutter her own wings again.]

You did! They're all white!

I can't move them, though. Well, I bet I could.

[Yamame toys with a few more threads, then drops her hands. With each twitch of her fingers, the wings seem to flap a little up and down.]

[Flandre is impressed!

What's that in your hands, Yamame?

[Yamame holds out her hands, to show Flandre the threads tangled in them.

...which subsequently rips the wings off of her back.]

Oh...oops.

[Which causes Flandre to shriek and leap backwards a bit further than was probably necessary.

A bit meaning a lot, since landing made her stumble.]

[Yamame jumps up so she can help Flandre stand back up herself.]

[Flandre...wasn't very helpful in this endeavor. Her wings are curled around her shoulders and her knees, and the vampire is holding onto the thumb claws very tightly as if she could keep them all to herself that way.

She doesn't resist, but she doesn't assist either.]

They...came off.

[Her voice is more of a squeak now.]

Flanny, they weren't real. Yamame had threads tied to them and they came off when I moved my hands too far.

It's okay, I can just make more! Yours won't come off like that!

[Flandre doesn't let go of her wings at all, but didn't shrink away again.

Or...do much of anything, really, except stare in a vacant way. It was questionable whether she even saw Yamame anymore.]

[Yamame kneels down in front of Flandre, waving a hand in front of her face. She looks rather concerned.]

Hey...Flanny...are you ok?

[That at least triggers an instant reaction: Flandre snaps at Yamame's hand.

...at least her bite wasn't terribly strong, though her fangs had returned.]

[Yamame doesn't snatch the hand back, she simply slowly lowers it away from the girl. Her voice is gentle, but has suddenly turned much more serious than usual.]

Flanny do you need help? Do I need to find someone?

[Flandre's jaws snap closed on air, then remain that way save for the grinding of her teeth, neurotically gnawing at something that wasn't there.

...she recognized Yamame a little more, now; as a distinct shape and a face that was vaguely familiar.

The vampire released the deathgrip on one of her wings and reached forward, towards this almost-familiar figure.]
