[April had wanted to hide in her room for a while, after what had happened last week. She had acted so cold and that fight with Greed... But, hiding wouldn't solve anything, and hey, she got an envelope in the mailbox. She isn't too happy when she opens the envelope though, as she immediately doubles over from pain and collapses onto her knees.]

Agh... D-dammit...

[There doesn't seem to be any open wounds on her, but the scars that have made an appearance on her arms might be an indication of what's wrong.]

[Sometimes later, April makes a phone call. She still sounds in pain, but not as bad as earlier.] Does... does anyone know any first-aid stuff for treating old wounds? I've gotten some back, and they're hurting like hell...

... And, um, for anyone who saw me last week, I-I'm sorry about how I a-acted...

Yep, I was. I acted... really cold to everyone and I even attacked one of my friends. Though he was being a complete jackass at the time...

So then, you were as well?

...yes, I was. [And though it's vague, Lion has a pretty good idea who he thought he was.] I'm just glad that didn't last long...

Yeah, same here. I... don't like the idea of the town making me act like, well, not myself... Do you remember why you acted how you did though? [April doesn't really remember why she acted that cold, besides there somehow being a lingering feeling of anger almost constantly.]

[beamiracle]

I acted like someone I could have been, basically. If my circumstances were different.

[technologic]

Someone you could have been... [She sounds thoughtful and it's a few moments before she speaks again.] Yeah, that sounds about right for me too... But that's kinda eerie to think about, that that's who you could have possibly been if something had changed in the past.

I'm not a doctor or anything, but I know some things that might help a little.

[he hangs up and about fifteen minutes later April's front door opens. Ed walks in, closing the door behind him.]

[He'll be greeted by a small puppy who wags it's tail at him, before April can be heard from the living room.]

Hi, Ed. I'm in here... Ah, hope you don't mind if I don't get up, I really don't feel like moving right now.

A-Ah, Miss April, will you be alright? I know basic first aid, but I'm no doctor...

I-It's okay, I'll be fine. Just... some old wounds causing trouble, that's all.

[Greed isn't sure he should say anything at first, but clears his throat.]

I don't think you owe me any apologies at all. I was trying to provoke you after all. Sorry about that April.

I'm not so good at the first aid stuff though. I haven't needed to use it before.

[There's some silence for a few moments, before she gives a reply.]

... It's all right, don't worry about it.

And that's fine, a couple of people are coming around to help me out. My scars have never caused me this much trouble before, so I'm kinda clueless on what to do.
