[Backdated to 1.29 (MORNING): Outside the hospital ]
[ The life of this magus was rather blessed in this town all things considered. Recklessness was often rewarded with someone pulling her out of danger and so many others would lay down their life to spare her an ounce of agony. The weeks trickled on and those people began to leave one by one. It isn't as though she's alone, oh no, she's even gone as far to make friends in this place. Her vital mistake was entrusting herself to protect them the best she can instead of relying on them to watch over her.
Even if they could, was there any man or woman strong enough in this town to defy what this town wishes? Were Lancer to kill each and every person here, would it still be enough to spare her anquish for a day? Were Garviel to guard every breath she took, would it still be enough to keep her heart beating? Were Rider to give her mana, would it still be enough for her crest to keep her body sustained? Even if she held the hearts of those who were strong, it was not enough for the monstrosities of this place. While radiation poisoning was easily handled and the cuts made by razors forced down her throat months ago healed with ease, it was still not enough to prepare her.
For she was foolish enough to ask that man who means so much to put her out of her misery. It was a selfish request at the time, for when he did, it ultimately came at the cost of his own life. He was willing to anything she would ask of him at the time and it was the easiest solution at the time. The easiest path traveled down though was not always the best and this freak occurrence reminded her of that. For she had to endure the feeling of her heart ripping open as though the spear of her beloved Servant struck her again and again. No amount of healing kept it at bay and eventually her pride wore out.
Just in time for her to pay a visit to a certain hospital in Mayfield. The memory is a blur when she tries to recall it. The earliest Rin can remember is being unable to move, but able to feel every cut into her body. It was impossible, but she can swear that they took her heart and every internal organ of hers out, replacing it with mechanical pieces. It's difficult to recollect. Too difficult to recollect. Even if she was in pain, she still kept track of every detail that she could.
The recovery room was uneventful for her, but it looking over the other people there gave her the knowledge she sought. She wasn't alone in this cruelty.
And Lancer wasn't with her anymore.
Come morning, she's found with the others sitting outside the hospital. Sitting is honestly the best way to put it, since she's mostly a mechanical mess with pieces of flesh that use to resemble her body. Full details of Rin's injury are located here. Please don't tag this prompt unless your stomach can handle it. ]
[Phone (DAYTIME): No filters]
[ Days later and Rin's still managed to survive. Guess it's impossible to die when all of your organs are robotic and your body is composed mostly of metal. While she's willing to spare most of Mayfield the pleasure of seeing her in this state, she's not in the mood to be quiet. No, she's rather livid. Except Rin Tohsaka's bitchiness has been cranked up to 11, so she's really pissed off. ]
That's it! I'm tired of just hiding around and letting people protect me! What good is it if I'm going to end up like this regardless of their intentions? Archer may have thought it a good idea for me to behave like a proper lady, but if he was here right now, if he could see what I'm going through, he would kill you all! Maybe he could even see that he was wrong, so wrong, he was so wrong and I hate him for it! [ Yes, she's been shouting this entire time. When she's not, the sounds of machinery can be heard in the background. ] I want to know who's responsible. I want to know who to attack. Most importantly, I want to know where the hell they got these pieces!! Because Garviel might find them useful.. That's all! It isn't as though I want these stupid things permanently!! [ And nooow she's sobbing furiously into the phone. ] Forget it, I'm not lonely or anything! I just thought maybe I should try to talk to people!
[Action (ALL DAY): 310 Miller Street]
[ While Rin's managed to be taken home by this point (out of fear of being droned WHILE suffering in this manner), she's not feeling any better. Her body's covered in various infections that leave her in pain, but no amount of wishing death upon herself will work. Her hair's pulled up into a ponytail to try to keep cool, but at the same time it reveals her new Command Seals along her neck, the girl's pact with Lancer once again formed. Even if she feels as though she should be in her room, she remains in the living room on the couch. Those who may be brave enough to visit her can find her easily, as she tries to hide under a blanket despite the glistening remnants of sweat. ]

[The words are mocking, but the sense of humor he has with them usually? Is completely gone. It's dull. Diluted. Simply angry.]

Oh shut up! I have enough problems to deal with! I don't need to be reminded that you still walk around freely.

Outside the hospital
[Bazett's first instinct when the morning comes is to check the hospital. Finding the factory had been hard; getting in had been impossible. Therefore, she had to wait until morning to see if Tohsaka or Lancer are among the experimental subjects.]
[She's both relieved and horrified to see Tohsaka there. On one hand, it means that Tohsaka should be alright now. On the other hand, it meant she had become an experiment after all.]
Tohsaka, are you alright? What did they do to you? Where's Lancer?
no subject
Lancer's alive. [ In fact, he's just left to try to find something for the tsundere. ] He was killed before.. but revived here as well. I think.
no subject
Someone killed Lancer? Was this from when they abducted you?
[It seems that the enemies this time are stronger than the other enemies this town created. They were strong enough to kill a fully powered Heroic Spirit armed with his Noble Phantams. This is a worrying thought. However, it seems that the revival mechanism in the town has started working again, so Lancer is currently fine.]

Rin? [Her voice is raspy, from all the coughing and constant expelling of the contents of her stomach every time she attempted to eat.] I'll talk with you, if you want. About anything.

I received word from my little wolf that you'd returned but... something was wrong.

I was right to be concerned.

Don't ask her how she got inside, but Marisa will just stand in the doorway of the living room, a satchel in hand and wait to see how long it takes Rin to notice her.]

She does hear her though and lifts her head to acknowledge the other presence. Surely if it was someone dangerous, the guardian of the house may come around. Seeing as it's her though, Rin nods her head slowly as a makeshift greeting. ]
They didn't do anything to you, did they?

outside hospital (I uploaded a new icon just for this)
But he isn't thinking about this right now. At present, his eyes are still coming into focus, not that he's making any effort. Everything in his body aches, particularly his back and chest, though he also feels strangely numb. Even half-hearted attempts to move only serve to aggrivate his condition, so eventually he just settles to be content to lie still, amusing himself with watching the clouds change shape, not even paying any mind to the cold.
As for his current state, he's well...a mess. His white button-down shirt and black jacket are stained with blood, seemingly originated from his chest. Though if one were bold enough to check, they'd find no wounds anywhere. The rest of his clothes are wet from laying in the snow for the past few days, and the back of his hair is caked from a mixture of blood, dirt, and snow. If one investigates enough, they'd find a red armband nearby, buried in the dense snow.
And nearby is a familiar gun, with it's twinkling silver gleam. Make of that, what you will.]

[ The blood concerns her enough to force herself to her feet, searing pain making it's way throughout her body, but easily ignored in favor of assisting him. He's died for her once already, so she can endure this pain to see how he's doing. Cautiously, she kneels down beside him in the snow, disregarding the gun for now. No, she has to see if he's alright. ]

Certainly not Nena. ]
Rinny? Are you getting any better with your new metal body? I saw it and you looked like you couldn't move! I was going to carry you home with my arm but I couldn't find you once I got out, hehe. [ Her memory floats to a time where it was about a year ago, and Rin offered her those jewels in return for information.
Too bad Nena chose friendship for the price instead. ]

[ Rin's considerate enough to move towards her fallen ally in the snow. Crawling next to her, she'll lift a robotic hand (chilled of course) to touch her cheek gently. ]
Hey Rider.. Wake up.
