2nd Code [Action/Voice] [Backdated to the morning of the 30th]

[Action A - All around Mayfield]

[After being released from the factory, Hakuno immediately starts making her way home. She's still not sure what kind of disease the doctors injected her with, but it's making her miserable, and she doesn't want to risk the chance of making anyone else feel the same way.

It's hard to keep walking though. Between the nausea and the hot and cold flashes, her head is swimming, causing her to stumble and occasionally pause to dry heave - it's been a while, so any contents of her stomach are long-gone. Also, there are strange purple dotted across her visible skin.

So yes, she's looking very, very sick, and will be avoiding people as best as possible. Which means that people should totally harass her, right?]

[Action B - Ricardo Street (Locked to Saber. The red one.)]

[Almost there. Almost there. She had (possibly) been stalled by others for some time, so it's taken her longer than usual to reach home. After all of that, the symptoms are finally taking their toll, and Hakuno's energy is at zero. She stumbles once. Twice. Three times. The fourth time is the last straw, and she finally collapses, right in the middle of the road.]

[Phone - Late afternoon]

[Waking up some time later, what is the first thing Hakuno decides to do? Not raid the medicine cabinet. Pfft, no. THE FIRST THING SHE DOES IS MAKE A PHONE CALL. After barricading herself in her room with one of the phones, of course.]

Rin! [She sounds horrible. You know, from all the coughing and vomiting attempts.] Rin, please tell me you're okay. Everyone else I've talked to... [A pause as she coughs.] What about you guys?

[OOC; IMPORTANT NOTE to those who might tag the action prompt. Her disease, which is noted here, is highly contagious through cough and touch. So be warned!]

Praetor--!

[She dashes forward, sliding the last few feet on her knees (which is going to hurt like hell as soon as she gives a damn; also, it's pretty impressive that she manages to get the distance right, given her lack of depth perception at the moment). She does her very best one-handed cradle, and gives the unwell Master a once-over; please be breathing please be breathing please be breathing---!]

[She is, thankfully! And she seems to be conscious, if a bit dazed. She groans a little, coughing before she's able to work up the energy to speak.]

I'm fine, really... [She's been saying it a lot lately, and even though it's completely unbelievable at this point, she still clings to that bit of stubbornness. She's worried Saber so much recently...] I'm just... tired...

[OH GOD so relieved DON'T SCARE HER LIKE THAT YOU DWEEB

Her expression turns... angry? Sort of angry. More frustrated than anything, though...]

Fool, is your understanding of your own body so incomplete? It is obvious - even to me - that this is not simply fatigue!

[...she takes a deep breath, and calms down a bit; no point to yelling at her, since... it probably won't get the point across...]

Like I said, I'm fine. [She shakes her head, and attempts to sit up. Attempts. She's still pretty shaky, so it's not going that well.]

And it's not that I can't understand my limits, I just... want to get home before I get anyone else sick. [Always thinking of others. Oh, Hanako...] You've probably already caught whatever they injected me with...

[Saber's Master is now Hanako. She would be so mad. =3=]

...I have. [It hasn't spread super-far yet, but she's definitely started feeling the effects.] I'm still strong enough for the both of us, though.

[Well, at least she's trying to get home. Saber'll give her credit for that... and help her with it! She lowers her shoulder, and drops her hand down to Hakuno's butt ~~no she is not copping a feel this is not the time or place~~, and tries to toss her unwell Master onto her shoulder.

Yep, she's gonna carry you.]

[But wouldn't you love an adorable woobie to take care of, Saber. TEACH HER TO TOUGHEN UP.]

... I'm really sorr- wah! [WHOA OKAY a sudden shift like that brought a wave of nausea back. Not enough to... you know. Barf all over Saber (if she even could at this point). Just enough to make her head spin for a couple of seconds.]

H-Hey, you don't have to do this... I'm sure I'll be able to walk no problem after a minute.

[She doesn't make any moves to try and get out of Saber's grasp though. So... that's good at least.]

[No she would just be frustrated at what she had to work with. Like, Hakuno didn't start off all that great, but Hanako? Damn, dude.]

And collapse again a minute after that? Certainly not.

[She does her best to secure her hold on the girl - no sense dropping her on her face, after all - and starts off towards their 'home'.

Though Hakuno certainly can't see it, Saber's wearing a slightly troubled expression.]

...I apologize; I should be carrying you properly, as one might carry one's bride. However... at the moment, I would likely hurt you if I tried...

[lousy goddamn stupid sword-arm!!!!!!]

Bridal style, huh.... that probably would have been more comfortable.

I'm sorry... you're so much worse off than me, yet you still have to do something like this...

Saber shakes her head, her troubled expression growing worse.]

...no. On the contrary, I should apologize, as this is all I can do.

[She was an artist, yes; a god among artists. A warrior? Certainly. The Coliseum had never seen her equal.

But, a healer? A doctor? No.

All this strength, and nothing to do with it.]

[...no, that wasn't right. That wasn't all she could do.

She knew Hakuno well enough to know that she was certainly troubled by this; by the fact that her sheer proximity would cause another suffering. She also knew that the girl would hide how troubled she was by it, to avoid making the problem worse.

Yes... something she could do for her Master? She could make her feel like everything was alright, or that it would be; and, anyway, they say that laughter is the best medicine.

...well, she hoped Hakuno would laugh, at least.

Saber theatrically cranes her neck, trying - and, eventually succeeding - to look around Hakuno's thigh. When she succeeds, she mocks an impressed sort of surprise, and flashes a smile over her shoulder at the girl.]

H'oh...? Given the situation, you've made quite the daring choice, Praetor.

What are you-- [Hakuno tries to shift a little so she can look over her shoulder, and...

It's almost comedic, how fast the face of someone so sickly pale can light up like a freaking Christmas tree. She may be dumber than a sack of bricks when it comes to sexual situations, but she's not dumb enough to not get embarrassed over someone checking out her panties. Said panties being of the black and lacy kind.]

I-It's not daring! I just... grabbed the first pair I could find...

So you say! However, a person's choice in underwear says a lot about their state of mind... and yours seem to say "I feel like a panther."

[She looks over her shoulder once more.

And waggles her eyebrows.

And, a few moments later, when she can't keep a straight face any longer, she gives in to the building laughing fit... during which she almost loses her grip on Hakuno BUT NOPE GOT HER IT'S OKAY. Also, the laughing fit might dissolve into a coughing fit towards the end, but it's probably fine.]

[It's hard to grab on to someone when you're slung over their shoulder like Hakuno is, but somehow she manages! And it's a good(???) thing Saber started coughing, or else her poor Master might die of embarrassment.]

I knew it. I got you sick. [She didn't mean to take the conversation back into Sad Territory, but it's the first thing she can grab onto that doesn't involve her underwear somehow.] ... Maybe we should make soup when we get home. That might help.

[She pauses a moment, and then continues, scowling slightly.]

Being separated would be far more troublesome and painful than any symptom this illness could muster.

[Aaaaaand she sighs; cooking is one of the things she don't know shit about, but! It can be an art like any other, so learning would be pretty much excellent.]

[It actually sounds lackluster but making it - especially making it with Hakuno - sounds like fun.]

[Normally, Gilgamesh would be jumping all over the girl with the pretty purple splotches, but by now, he's realized that she's probably another one of the town's experiments.]

[Therefore, instead of trying to take her home or babbling his usual lines at her, he walks up to her, looking sympathetic.]

Are you alright?

[ Her voice sounds gentle enough all things considered. There's a haunting whirring noise in the background, but Rin sounds alive at least. ]

That place.. they took you too?

[That whirring... does not sound good.]

Yeah... but all they did was make me sick. [And screw a big metal plate to her chest but she doesn't need to mention that.] What about you? What... what did they do to you?

Sick..? [ That can be interpreted in so many ways, Rin thinks to herself as she gives a gentle sigh in return. ] Sick is fairly vague. Why don't you tell me a bit more?

[ Even when she speaks, there's a hint of her pain masked under exhaustion. ]

I'm going to kill them if they really hurt you. [ Although hearing of Hakuno's ailment does spark something within her. A tiny spark that soon engulfs her entire mind in her rage. If she ever thought Rin was quick to switch moods, this speed could contend with the most agile Servant alive. ] So what did they do to you!?

[Hakuno thought she was used to Rin's mood swings by now. But this? Holy crap she was not prepared for a swing that fast. She can almost feel the whiplash.]

They didn't hurt me badly, I promise! Not compared to the others... [Like Saber. An arm cut off and replaced with an Incredibly Shitty Sword, an eye taken out... Hakuno got off easy, and she wishes she hadn't. It's not fair.] Whatever they injected me with... all it does is make me cough and get hot or cold flashes. It's just like a bad flu. [Yeah, she's just... not going to mention the purple blotches. Or the big metal plate.]

Now tell me what what they did to you! I've been so worried...

[ Sorry Hakuno, but Rin's been cranked up to eleven. ]

I don't care for comparisons to others. Everyone can endure their own level of pain, so I want to know if they hurt you! If they broke any of my friends here, I'll burn this entire town until it rains ashes!

[ Well, as long as she's not mentioning that stuff, it doesn't sound too bad. ]

What they did to me..? [ Sudden turn for the worse as Rin is instantly inflicted with sorrow. How can she bring herself to tell her? ] They didn't do much, so really! Don't worry about me please.. I'm talking to you, so obviously I'm fine.

[It's sort of funny how Rin's trying to downplay whatever happened to her, yet she's yelling at Hakuno for doing the exact same thing. But it's obviously going to be a Bad Thing to bring that up.]

Trust me, okay? They didn't hurt me. And if my friends are all right, I'll be fine. [Her voice gets a little softer at this.] I'm not going to make you tell me what happened, but I'll worry either way.

[ At least Hakuno is clever enough to catch onto that. Now if only the rest of Mayfield would comply.. ]

You better not worry. I'll kick your ass if you do.

[ Ever since Winry realized that people were being dumped at the hospital she has been waiting there. Every spare moment is spent waiting by the hospital, ready to help anyone who seems sick or hurt.

But she doesn't spot Hakuno at the hospital. Winry crosses paths with the sick purple-dotted girl while she's walking there. Naturally, she stops to check on her. ]

Ah--!!! Are you okay?! [ Those purple dots don't look good and the coughing is probably a bad sign... but that won't stop Winry from approaching her. ]

[Shit shit shit.]

D-Don't come closer! [Wow come on that's like an open invitation right there, Hakuno.] I'm just sick, that's all... [Sick and leaning on a nearby telephone pole to make sure she can still stand in her exhausted state.] I'll be fine, really. I just need to get home...

Being sick is just more reason for me to come over there, you know. [ Which Winry does without another moment's hesitation. Offering support for Hakuno, to help her stand. ] I can at least get you to the right street.

You do not look healthy. [ Rumbles a giant, cased in armor. ]

I'll be fine... [Lies. Utter lies.] It's just a cold.

[She's not really surprised by this guy. She's seen some pretty crazy stuff over the course of the Holy Grail War, so his appearance isn't really that out there.]

Do not lie to me human, it is beneath both of us. Is this affliction something from home, or a result of the machinations of this town?

[ He takes a step closer. There's... no apparent cruel intent from him, despite his array of weaponry. If she's at all familiar with Tohsaka's magic, there's something about his armor... mana-wise, something almost familiar. ]

[Even without mana of her own - for now - Hakuno can still pick up on the sort of... hum, coming from the man's armor. And indeed it was familiar; she had felt that mana flare up, lash out... it was a thing that still haunted her dreams. Fighting Rin, defeating her Lancer...

She shook her head, pushing those thoughts back for now.]

It was something that happened at that factory... but it's not as bad as some of the others. [She still can't get the image of her mutilated Servant out of her head. Seeing Saber like that hurt way worse than the symptoms of her mysterious disease.] It hasn't gotten worse since I woke up.

It would seem I managed to destroy the wrong thing when I launched the assault on the dairy.

Do you need help getting home? I was made to help humanity, even in a place like this.
