Adventure 006: I Have a Headache

[Action:  Walking to/from Pharmacy]

[Sherlock has had a migraine for several hours now.  Migraines are not completely unique to Sherlock.  He gets them on occasion - even his mind can't store everything.  The problem is:  going into his Mind Palace only makes it worse.  In fact, he notices that anything related to 'home' causes the pain to spike.  He has found some very dark sunglasses and is now in route to the Chemists - he is afraid to drive, but he needs something for the pain.  On his way, he is observing others.  Because why would thinking about home make the pain so much worse?

...On his return trip he does the same, but walking faster, now that he knows there maybe a cure to his pain, he wants the pain to end as soon as possible.]


[Action: At Pharmacy]

[Sherlock finally makes it to the Chemists and makes his way to the back.  He explains that he isn't feeling well and that he's just coming in to check on supply orders.  He slips in back finds what he needs: the remaining cocaine, a vial of morphine, syringes, and a tourniquet.  He slips these items into his pocket and makes his way back home.]


[Action: 915 Bilko Boulevard (locked to Housemates)]

[Once Sherlock returns home, he makes his way to the bathroom, makes the preparations and injects the morphine.  The cocaine will just be for emergencies.  He slips the vials and other items into his pocket.  Then he goes back to the bedroom and gets into bed, hiding under the covers.]

[If Gin getting his memories altered changed anything, it's probably just the fact that he's suddenly remarkably less paranoid and remarkably more of a prick, if that were possible. He spots you on the way toward the pharmacy and smirks.]

Headache?

[Perhaps Gin, you should wish to have one; it would have meant you'd realize something was wrong.]

[Sherlock rubs his temples.]

"We haven't." Wow blunt.

Your name is probably going to ring some alarms in Gin's head though, once he gets it.

Well, as you pointed out, I have a headache and was on my way to remedy it.

[He can be rude with the rest of them.]

"Clearly." Smirk. "The sunglasses lead to a particular reason for that headache, not that you seem to be the type."

No, Sherlock is definitely not hungover.

[Sherlock doesn't have the most clear thought process when he has a migraine.]

What!?

[He winces at his own loud sound.]

"You appear at a glance to be hungover," he responds with an almost clipped tone. 'Duh'.

"Not that you are, obviously."

Obviously. But that is a rather rude assumption.

[Wouldn't have been altogether wrong a decade ago, but still rude.]

"It's rude to assume you aren't hungover is it? My mistake then." He grins; someone is obviously enjoying the fact that a searing migraine does little to aid the thought processes.

[Sherlock just sighs and turns to walk away. He has no fight in him; especially considering the amount of pain he's in.]
