thirteenth tonfa - let's make fireworks

A : 1647 Albright Lane : Closed to Cain

[ Hibari's been collecting different things for making fireworks, because it's something that he both like to create and set off. Alone, at least.

As it is now, he's sitting up on top of the roof of 1647 Albright, boxes of material for both fireworks and fuses for them. The most he had things for was sparklers, but he had for other simple types as well. Making fireworks out of the different items.

On his knee, his little Hibird sat fluffed up and softly cooing, while his cloud hedgehog Roll lay curled under the shadow of his other knee. ]


B : High School : Open to All

[ What is he doing napping again? He sure like to nap, doesn't he? With Hibird on top of his head and Roll on his stomach, he lay spread on top of a few low lockers, only half asleep right now. He's paying just a little attention to the students milling through the corridor, and his fingertips are itching to reach for his tonfa. ]


C : Anywhere in Mayfield

[ He is bored, really, really bored. So with Hibird flying around his head and singing Namimori's school's anthem (taught to it by Hibari), he is looking for a fight. Preferrably a good fight, but as long as it's a fight, he won't be picky. Unless his opponent turn out to be really weak. Or if they're Belphegor – but that guy is weak, after all. And he won't measure Cain or Tohsaka Rin, either, because those are some of the few he's not looking to fight with at the moment. Instead, those two might get a passing glance, before he looks to the next prey-- person.

So he scrutinizes everyone he sees, measuring their strength. This is why you might feel his sharp stare in your back, because he's not concealing his observing. ]

[Cain was just on his way out to the bakery when he happened to catch sight of his neighbour on top of the roof.]

I didn't get them. I'm making them now.

[Honestly, that's even more worrying, where did he find the ingredients to make them?]

It's not something usually done for no reason...

[ Actually, these are simple ones made from easily-aquired items. ]

Are you going to make a display of them later?

..... [ Did Cain seriously think that he would? This is the crowd-hating Hibari we're talking about. ] No.

It seems a shame not to, everyone would surely love to see a firework display.

Cain, [ He sighs. ] Do you think I'd actually care? I don't do it for others.

I know, but it wouldn't hurt you to, either.

Because I don't want to. I hate crowding.

You wouldn't have to be anywhere near the crowds, not if you were the one setting them off.

Still, I don't want to please them.

How about we make a deal? You set them off for everyone to see, and I'll stop bothering you now?

[Akaya doesn't really like being stared. It gives him the creeps. So he's going to turn around - clearly annoyed.]

[ Hibari measures Akaya with his gaze. ]

I never said I wanted anything with you. Since you look weak.

[... wait, that voice sounds familiar. He thinks a while.

Right. Herbivores.

Though he twitches at being called 'weak'.]

[ Oh, JK recognizes this guy. It's the guy with the birthday party. Well, there's one thing he's been thinking of asking him something anyway, so he stops next to the lockers (although not standing all too close, because the guy did threaten him earlier), lookinhg at him. ]

[ He's half joking, because the inportant part is that JK himself remembers. Not as much the other way around. ]

[ Walking through the halls leads her to an amusing sight and for a moment, she considers doing something cruel like dipping his fingers into warm water. Deciding against it, she just gives a sigh as she runs a textbook along the locker doors to rattle them. ]

N. [ He glances up, a glare in his gaze. ] Tohsaka Rin. What do you want?

[ Had she done that with the water, he would probably have attacked her. ]

I want to speak with you and since you weren't going to greet me anytime soon, I thought I'd make you do just that.

[ Poor guy having to deal with her. ] Now come on, aren't you going to ask me what was so important that we had to talk about it now?

[bitetodeath]

.... [ She expected him to wanting to listen? ] No.

Hey, don't give an answer like that. [ Banging the locker again. ] Come on and get down from there. I'd prefer to speak to you as though we were normal people and not... whatever it is we are.
