Entry tags:
action; phone (forward dated to Monday!)
{ACTION} Mayfield Elementary; before class
[Despite seeing and hearing some things he didn't want to encounter during the trip into the void, Czeslaw has been attending school without missing a day. Dressed in a white shirt with a tie (fixed to be straight by his drone mother) and jacket but missing his usual hat, Czes makes his way on campus, arriving a little bit early.
He bumps shoulders with people sometimes, uttering a small "sorry" whenever he does. But if he sees a face he recognizes, he looks up with the best smile he could plaster on his face.]
Hi... good morning! How's it going?
{ACTION} Stone Street; afternoon
[Czeslaw received something in the mail after coming home from school. It was just an envelope with a card inside, but what's important to Czes is what is dran on the card. It's a two-panel comic, a simple picture of a human with a wound in the first panel; the human's wound is healed in the second. He looks at it for a couple of seconds before he pales and nearly drops it, turning white and running inside the house.]
{PHONE} filtered to Firo Prochainezo
Firo! Hey Firo, can I talk to you?
[First he calls Firo, because this is the guy he was living with back home. First he's got to call Firo and see if he's still alive and around, and tell him what happened. He already tried to see if the mail wasn't joking, and sure enough it was real. The cut on his lip he bit down on it earlier healed in seconds.]
Not over the phone, though -- I can come to to your house or meet you anywhere, but I need to talk to you!
{ACTION} Nelson Street; nighttime
[Czes was also going to try calling Elmer C. Albatross but instead he runs. He remembers that Elmer lived on Nelson Street, so he runs as fast as he can to that street, hoping he'll find the house. But it's the one with the treehouse, right?
He's running so fast he might crash right into a passerby, saying "Sorry!" and hoping he won't get pulled into a conversation.]

[Action]
I'm glad to hear that.
[The smiles disappears as he looks surprised. Never would have thought Czes would go for that.]
Jump? Like now?
[Action]
[Action]
[This is exactly the sort of thing he would have done at Czes's apparent age, though by now he realizes it's probably not the best idea. Still, the challenge has been issued and he can't back down.]
Let's go on 3?
[Action]
One... two....!
[Action]
[He jumps off right as his swing is all the way forward! He's too caught in the moment to feel ridiculous.]
[Action]
[Action]
...Wanna go again?
[Action]
Sure, if you're up to it! Let's do it!
[Action]
[He hops back on the swing, but waits for Czes before he starts swinging.]
[Action]
[Action]
You sure you don't wanna push this time? Bet you could go even higher.
[Action]
... You know? Fine. Push me!
[Action]
[Firo's a little surprised to actually be taken up on that offer, but he hopes off his swing nonetheless.]
[Action]
[He nods firmly, and he climbs down to sit on the swing rather than stand. That should make it easier for Firo to push.]
[Action]
But that would have made it easier for him to push you off...]Here we go!
[And he grabs the chains of the swing and gives a shove!]
[Action]
RUDE][Czes enjoys the rush of that first swing more than he'd ever admit, although the yelp at the beginning betrays his surprise at the speed he'd never be able to reach on his own so quickly. It's a really strange feeling, and he grips the chains tightly, but when he comes back down he's grinning so widely.
WHOOOOOO]
[Action]
Just tell me when you wanna stop!
[Action]
But... this is also going to get embarrassing fast, isn't it? Humiliating. He'll never live it down.]
... A couple more pushes!
[Action]
[He's perfectly happy to push Czes as long as the kid wants. After all, it's not too often they get a peaceful moment in Mayfield. Might as well make the best of it.
He gives another push, the biggest one yet!]
[Action]
And he slips.
And he falls off the swing and lands with a yelp!]
[Action]
Perfect! >:DFor a moment, Firo stands there, dumbly holding the chains of the swing and looking incredibly guilty.]
H-hey! Czes, are you okay?
[He drops the swing and rushes over.]
[Action]
H-hi Firo. I'm... okay. I wasn't expecting that.
[Action]
[He bends down and holds out his hand to Czes.]
[Action]
[He hit his butt how dare you. He will take Firo's hand, though!]
[Action]
[When he moves to pull Czes to his feet, though, he takes extra care not to pull too hard.]
