Adventure 004: Event and Problem Parenting

[The Event - for what else would one call it? - has been interesting. But not really telling. Other than the places that were locked to the citizens remain unaffected. Which would tell him something, he's sure, if he could find the right person to talk to. The Drones are worse than worthless these days, so he avoids them at all costs. But there has to be someone, somewhere smart enough to be an assistant as he tries to piece this information together. So, he is wandering around town hoping to encounter such a person. Of course, they might have to come to him.]

Has anyone taken any readings on what is going on? I'm specifically looking for readings on the radio static or voices that are coming through and on the 'Phasing' for want of a better word. I would like to meet anyone who is doing scientific research on what is happening.

[Sherlock has decided to call a family meeting. Really it's more of a 'check in' to make sure everyone is alive - no, he doesn't care, not really, but it's what the head of households do, right?]

I don't usually go out after dark anyway. What good is imposing rules on me? [ Especially when you should know he'll just blatantly disobey if he feels like he has too/if someone is in danger. ]

I think that settles everything. You might be seventeen, but seventeen is still a minor and you have the body of a seven-year-old. If you wish to be treated older, than act older.

[ Conan isn't really sure what to say to that. Shrinking has crippled him far more than he will even admit. Two years later and he still isn't quite over the idea of how completely the black organization had destroyed his life. ]

I sure would. Even if you were you're real size, I still have decades on you. So there.

And I remember what I was like at seventeen... You should know me well enough to know size doesn't matter to me.
