[Rapunzel has been uncharacteristically quiet since the Carnival. It was... A big growth experience for her, and it forced her to see Mayfield's true nature. A lot changed, and yet... Nothing did. She's still stuck here, and she's finally coming around to decide she'll make the most of it, and do the best she can to help people. She really is a resilient lady.

What she finds in the mail that morning helps. First her guitar, which gets a smile, and then... Something that makes her shriek in delight.

Deja vu. Yep, Pascal is back.]

[B: Action; Morning to Dusk; John Doe Park]

[Rapunzel can be found in the park for the rest of the day, playing old, whimsical tunes on her guitar for herself and Pascal and anyone else who cares to listen.]

[C: Phone; Evening]

Hi, it's Rapunzel. I haven't really used this much since-- Well, how is everyone?

[And when Rapunzel gets on he's going to lift off rather fast and ZOOOOOM. There they go streaking through the air. Hope you're holding on tight.]

Woah. Looking down isn't nearly as scary as she expected. It's actually pretty awesome.]

[Jim will spare the heart attack of awesome dips and tricks, plus she's not exactly firmly buckled in like he his. Foot straps make a different after all. Holding onto the sail as he directs he looks back to her.]

Pretty sweet, huh?

It's one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen...

You should see it back on Montressor. It's more amazing flying there than here.

Oh, really? What's it like back there?

There's lots of canyons, and you can fly right through the clouds. Allows for a lot of cool tricks.

[Ouch, thanks for that Rapunzel. He shrugs though.]

Whatever...cops took my surfer away anyways so better to be here and have it than not.

Woulda been nice to find Treasure planet.

[It's okay, Jim's trying hard not to think about it.]

Maybe we should go back to my house.

[A beat.]

Sure, hold on.

[And he turns the solar surfer around back towards Rapunzel's place.

When they reach there, he touches the surfer down before turning it off.]

Well, I made on my promise, did you like it at least?

It was wonderful, Jim. Really. Thank you so much.

Great, I'll see you around than.

[Because he's going to try and get away now. Because dealing with feelings isn't what Jim does. Want to stop him?]

Hey, hold on a minute. Tea.

[imstillhere]

Huh? Oh...yeah...sure.

[He'll just, slowly move away from the surfer. Because that look, it's kind of scary.]

[Even scarier is how quickly she can snap back to perky.

But she really just wants to help Jim out. She feels bad for what she said. So she leads the way inside.]

[She shouldn't. Because for all Jim knows, it's his fault for whatever just happened. He is a screw up, he knows that much. Let's people down. Can't do anything right. Just a normal day in his life. So having Rapunzel here get sad a moment ago isn't exactly making him feel great about himself.

But, he just shoves his hands in his pockets and follows her inside.

Looking at the place with a vacant stare.]

Nice place you got here...same colour of white we got...and same table...same everything actually.

[Rapunzel smiles awkwardly, then sets to preparing tea.]

That... Seems to be how it works here. I should probably do some painting, at least.

Couldn't hurt I guess...better than being reminded of living in Psychofield.

[He just sits down.]

You any good at painting?

I don't know. [It's not false modesty. Mother tended to ignore her art, and of course Pascal assured her of its quality. They were best friends. But... Rapunzel knows she likes her art. That's enough.] I guess so. I know I love it.

What kind of tea would you like?

Hm, well that's good at least. Kind of would suck if you didn't.

[It's kind of like he is with his board. He likes what he does but unlike Rapunzel he knows he's good. But he shrugs at the tea question]

Any kind, doesn't really matter.

Yeah, I guess it would.

Does lemon sound alright, then? I think that's my favorite...
