[Ed's been keeping to himself ever since he got back from the whole carnival thing. He's been in an awful state even before it, but when he died there it all seemed to hit him at once. He felt useless and pathetic and he wasn't able to help anyone. He couldn't even help himself! He's been here almost a year now and what has he accomplished? Nothing.

But after having an inspirational talk with his brother (read: he got his ass thoroughly kicked because he was being an IDIOT and now he kind of has a black eye and a broken nose) he figured it was finally time to break the radio silence.]

[Ed bought all the groceries he needed and is headed for home. He's carrying two large bags in his hands and it's kind of hard for him to see over the top of them. What is paying attention to where you're walking? ]

[ Rika has been worried about you for quite a while, stupid! Like Winry, she almost wanted to hang up the phone. He sounded so ... tired. Injured. Familiar. If Ed was going to go back to being that way then maybe it was better to stop talking to him. Distance herself from the pain of watching his spirit whither away.

It takes her a few seconds, maybe even a minute, to so much as mumble a response. ]

[ Satou is wandering the aisles, wishing she knew how to cook. She has a list of ingredients, but has already seen some spicy sauces that must taste great in cupcakes and has begun to plan improvising on her baking. She looks up to grab something from a shelf and stops, recognizing Ed almost immediately. Her mouth drops open, non-intelligent thoughts crush anything intelligent she might have said, and she points. ]

Mr Edward-san! I found you! [ Yup! A month late! The reason she pretends she went into the Funhouse! He's here. She's done it. Hell yeah. Al is going to be so proud of her! ] Congratulations!

[ To herself...? Who knows. Seeing Ed has momentarily broken her. She's not sure what she "should" be feeling. ]
