[Action: 7135 Brooks St. Aurora's excited to see two things in the mail for her today! One is a large, flat package about 3 feet high and two feet wide, wrapped in paper; the other is simply an envelope. Curious, she opens the bigger of the two there on the porch. Inside is a portrait painting, done in Aurora's colorful, loose style of a serious-looking young man. He has dark hair and glasses, and an expression that suggests that Aurora had to do a lot of coercing to get him to pose for her. Upon seeing this, she gasp, surprised, and delightedly exclaims:]

Li! Wow, I can't believe it! Of all the things they could send back...!

[Oh, right, there was still something else! Time to open that envelope. Inside is nothing but a card with a picture of a generic cartoon ghost on it. How odd. She's not sure what it could mean at first, and it takes her a bit till the idea dawns on her.

Oh. Being able to possess people is part of her repertoire, even if she doesn't like doing it. But is that what this means? There's only one way to be certain.]

Say, um... Could I ask someone for a favor. It's kind of a big one! And, ummmm... you have to not be afraid of ghosts, okay? And I'm being serious here!

7135 Brooks Street. My name's Aurora. And you're sure you don't mind?

If I wasn't sure about, then I wouldn't be telling you that...

I will be there in about twenty minutes~!

Okay! I'll be waiting for you.

[When Johnny gets there, he'll find Aurora's set out some tea and homemade cookies. Mostly because she's not sure how she's supposed to treat someone she's about to possess.]

H-Hi! Are you Johnny?

[He was a few minutes late... but that's because he arrived when he felt it was time. One way to make an entrance, that's all that was! When he did arrive, he raised a brow at the scene before him. However he quickly gave Aurora a sweeping bow, taking off his hat as he did so.]

That, I am~ ... and you must be Miss Aurora! It's a pleasure to meet you.

Oh, I am, and likewise! [Not sure how to respond to the bow, she curtseys after a moment.]

Um, I know this is a really weird thing to be asking someone, but I'm glad to have some help. Mayfield wasn't really clear about what they had sent me, so....

Well, whatever it is, I'm sure we'll get it figured out within a matter of seconds!

Oh, didn't I say? Well, that's why I asked for someone who's not afraid of ghosts. But testing possession on someone is a lot to ask, I think.

[He was silent for a moment.]

Well, yes. You did say someone who's not afraid of ghosts.

[He thought about it for another moment. Then finally grinned.]

I would have to say, one with a strong will would be a little hard for ghosts to possess. I also said I would gladly do you a favor, and here I am. I won't back down on my word.

[She smiles, though a bit nervously.] A strong will is good! That means you might be able to kick me out on your own. I won't do anything terrible, though! I promise. I think possessing people is pretty rude. But, in a place like this... I wonder if it might make a good way to defend myself someday, you know?

Well... those in charge seem to be a pretty "lively" sort... perhaps it'd be best to try your hand at taking full control in case someone of their rank were to cause harm.

So! I think I would consider this practice~

O-Okay! So long as you're okay with it, we can try. Now, people have told me it feels kinda cold at first? Just so you know.

[She hesitates for a moment, then she closes her eyes, concentrating. In a manner of a few seconds, she fades, translucent, before disappearing entirely. A few seconds after that is when Johnny's hit with that cold, unsettling feeling she mentioned. After a few moments of nothing, Johnny will hear a voice in his head.]

Hello? Can you hear me?

[He was rather impressed, since he was a little skeptic to begin with. However, right now... the idea of someone else inside of him, seemed odd.]

Well, that was quite the experience. As for hearing you... of course.

Oh, good! Ha, I really had no idea how this would work since I don't usually have a body, you know? But it worked! Just like usual!

[He chuckled and looked around.]

... So was that it then?

Um, I guess... I don't want to have to take you over, so... Wow, you're pretty tall! [It's a different view up here, even for the girl who floats most of the time.]

Hm! So what if you've only managed to merge with a person? How will you know if you can truly take them over?

I'd have to put forth the effort, I guess. It's easier with some people than others. I guess you can call it a battle of wills?

Ah-ha~ You are welcome to try. I must admit, do not be disappointed if it doesn't work at first.

Well... Okay... If you really want!

[There's a few moments of silence before Johnny feels anything. There's definitely the sense that Aurora is still there, but now it's like the world around him is dimming a bit around the edges. It doesn't get much further than that, but he can feel the subconscious tug, as if trying to pull him into sleep.]

I-It's not always easy...

[He paused and waited... watching as his vision seemed to fade on him. It was an interesting experience, to say the least... and he shook his head to clear it. A grin.]

... and I wouldn't think so. This is rather intriguing, to say the least. I once ran into a poor fellow who seemed to be a bit... ah, possessed. It's rather something of a comfort to know that there are... others of your kind that find such actions rude.

[He seemed concerned.]

This isn't taxing on you... is it?

Some can be rather mean about it. They're usually very angry souls, those who've gotten too bored or too... too sick of the Afterlife, maybe.

Oh, uh, it can be, but it would take longer than this. But I'll get out now, okay? Just relax, I guess...

[As she leave, all Johnny will notice the other voice fading fast, followed by that goosebump-inducing cold again. Then, from behind him, Aurora's voice piped up.]
