[A: Phone (Open to All)]

[It's pretty late at night and Al is at the end of his rope. Ed has been avoiding him, he utterly failed to protect anyone he cared about when the town went to hell, and he was once more trapped in this stupid armour body. His voice is high pitched in a mix of distress and determination, coming all in a rush down the phones.]

I've had enough!

I'm not going to let this town hurt anyone I care about any more, and I'm not going to let anyone else get hurt. I know... I know I can't protect everybody, but I can help teach people who don't know how to protect themselves.

So... come to the park in the morning if you want to learn, and together we can help make sure that we can give this place a really good fight!

[B: Park (Open to All)]

[Sure enough, mid morning finds one Alphonse Elric in the park, ready to teach anyone who shows up. He knows a lot of people here are competent already, and that some wouldn't want his lessons. But if he can help even one person get better at defending themselves, then he's done a good job.]

[C: 1649 Albright Lane (Locked to Ed)]

[He has had more than enough of Ed avoiding him. He knew from others what had happened to Brother during the carnival, and he is furious that Ed hadn't come to find him as soon as it was all over. He has been around himself a few times since, but he always seems to mysteriously miss his big brother.

Not today.

He's hammering on the door loudly, big metal fist making a furious pounding that shakes the door.]

BROTHER! BROTHER, OPEN THE DOOR!

Good to know. Fighting for a reason is always a good plan.

I think everyone fights for a reason, even if that reason is just their own survival.

I guess I should get back to training. Do you want to go again, or are you done?

Sure, lets go again. It'll be interesting to go through.

[He resumes his ready stance, prepared for her to attack.]

[And she moves in again, darting for a few quick punches and a kick.]

[He lowers his arm to block, stepping out of range to try and throw her off-balance.]

Try to be patient, defend instead of attack.

[tsunmuse]

[Ako stepped backwards, nodding.]

Sorry, always used to being on the attack. Helps when you can move super fast.

It's better to be able to defend yourself and those around you, rather than try to injure the other party.

[tsunmuse]

You sure about that? I don't put the enemy down fast enough back home, people get hurt.

[snacklist]

Mm. Sometimes you have to attack, but it's better to try and defend as a first action.

[tsunmuse]

Mmm I see. [Steps back a bit and waits for Al to go on the offensive.]

[snacklist]

[Feeling a small glow of accomplishment at passing on wisdom, he throws the first punch this time.]

[tsunmuse]

[And she tanks it, blocking with her forearms and skidding back from the force of it.]

Great!

[He's so happy when she blocks it, swinging his leg around from the side to try and kick her ankles out from underneath her.]

[tsunmuse]

[She stepped backwards, avoiding it as she swings a kick towards his side. At least this time she could try to eck out a win.]

[The kick connects, resonating with a metallic clang, as Al throws a punch to her stomach.]

[tsunmuse]

[The fist impacting, she grabbed his fist and whipped her leg up using it as leverage at his head.]

[snacklist]

[His helmet comes off, clattering to the ground and revealing his hollow interior.]

OH!

[tsunmuse]

Whoops, sorry about that. [Dropping her guard, she went to go pick up his head, unfazed. She was a fairy princess from another world. Of course she wasn't surprised at weird stuff.]

Here. Sorry bout that.

[That was an unusual reaction, but he's certainly not going to argue with it, just putting his helmet back on.]
