[A: Phone (Open to All)]

[It's pretty late at night and Al is at the end of his rope. Ed has been avoiding him, he utterly failed to protect anyone he cared about when the town went to hell, and he was once more trapped in this stupid armour body. His voice is high pitched in a mix of distress and determination, coming all in a rush down the phones.]

I've had enough!

I'm not going to let this town hurt anyone I care about any more, and I'm not going to let anyone else get hurt. I know... I know I can't protect everybody, but I can help teach people who don't know how to protect themselves.

So... come to the park in the morning if you want to learn, and together we can help make sure that we can give this place a really good fight!

[B: Park (Open to All)]

[Sure enough, mid morning finds one Alphonse Elric in the park, ready to teach anyone who shows up. He knows a lot of people here are competent already, and that some wouldn't want his lessons. But if he can help even one person get better at defending themselves, then he's done a good job.]

[C: 1649 Albright Lane (Locked to Ed)]

[He has had more than enough of Ed avoiding him. He knew from others what had happened to Brother during the carnival, and he is furious that Ed hadn't come to find him as soon as it was all over. He has been around himself a few times since, but he always seems to mysteriously miss his big brother.

Not today.

He's hammering on the door loudly, big metal fist making a furious pounding that shakes the door.]

BROTHER! BROTHER, OPEN THE DOOR!

[The Park]

[Luke missed the message, but he's doing a bit of his own wallowing in the park. It's becoming kind of a tradition really. But it's kind of hard to ignore a giant suit of armor standing around in the park, so he'll cautiously approach completely unaware it's Alphonse or that he met said suit of armor in the funhouse.]

...Hello?

[He's seen weirder things, but this...this was pretty weird right here.]

[Al also doesn't know this was the person he met in the funhouse, it had been too pitch black in there to recognise anyone.]

[While Luke recognizes the voice, the voice and the armor sure doesn't match.

This Alphonse fellow must be incredibly tall. He's kind of jealous.]

Alphonse? Is that you in there?

[Ah, now he's recognising the voice too, sounding excited to put a face to the name.]

Right! Luke?

Mhm!

[Luke sounds a little more cheerful.]

Gosh, you're a lot um, taller then I imagined you'd be.

[He droops a bit, armour clanging and voice tinged with woe.]

I didn't ask to be this tall.

[Uh oh. He didn't mean to hurt his feelings. Maybe it's a condition of some sort?]

Oh, I didn't mean it to be rude! It's just a part of growing up, you know? Sometimes you get your growth spurt a little earlier then others.

[...And since Luke's a little jealous and doesn't really want to talk about puberty, he pushes for a less awkward subject.]

What are you doing out here, anyway?

[He's not offended, he's just very aware of being taller than everyone around him constantly. It's like the opposite of Ed's life.]

I'm going to train people how to defend themselves using hand to hand combat, in case this place takes away anyone's abilities in the future.

That's not a bad idea, although I'm not sure how much good it'll do if the hazmats show up again.

It might at least help less people get hurt, or be able to defend the people they care about.

Being small doesn't mean you wouldn't be great at it!
