Plan Four: Attack of the Star Wars Hairstyles

[Leia isn't too pleased when she gets a phone call telling her she's been missing work. After explaining that no, she did not in fact cut hair for a living, she's told to go down to the shop or lose her job. Which is no doubt code for droning in some manner so today you can find Leia....]

[A. Barber shop: No she does not look very happy about it. However you might notice the drones with long hair seem to be getting some strange hair styles. Lots of braids and things like that. Gee it's almost like someone's a star wars fan or...oh wait. If you walk in the store Leia will look over.]

It may have taken them a while but they finally got around to giving me a job. Do they look for jobs we wouldn't enjoy having or is it simply my bad luck? Either way, I'll be at the "barbershop".

You know, I never really could do fancy braids like that.

They show up a lot in hairstyles on Alderaan. After a while you just get the hang of it.

It seems to be random. The job they have me doing isn't so bad by Mayfield standards, anyway. Other people disagree.

I sell makeup door to door. It's not too bad, it gives me an excuse to meet people and as long as I carry the case around the town doesn't really care what I'm up to.

It's just that I got something in the mail back recently....I think it's my connection to the force.

Is that really a problem for you? I mean, whatever hairstyle you use day by day tends to become a galaxy wide fad once you appear on the news.

I'd much prefer people with minds then all the drones that have come in here today.

I didn't have to go out and do everyone's hair personally when that happened then either.

[Jazz loved his hair, he really did. It was so much fun and funky and even having it at all was amusing in and of itself. But he was at a serious disadvantage when it came to knowing how to keep it under control. No Cybertronian would be prepared to know how to deal with having human hair, let alone hair with the problems he'd begun to realize humans of the darker-skinned races had. Trying to take care of it with the same methods Prowl was able to use had so far failed miserably, and his hair was beginning to get out if hand. He couldn't even get a comb through it half the time!

So it was with that in mind that he found himself wandering into the barbershop and staring at the shelves of tubes and bottles for sell that honestly meant frag-all to him. He shook his head gently at the question and shrugged, so focused on trying to pronounce some of the names and decipher their purpose that he didn' t turn for a moment.]

I'm jus' tryin'a figure out what I needa get f'my hair. I don' know howta take care of it, an' it don' like me much these days. Been fightin' everything I try an' do with it. D'you know what'd work?

[He turned finally, and for just a moment had to hold back a small, startled laugh. Oh! What??? Seriously??? He'd met Luke just the other day, which made the obvious conclusion that this must be the Princess. Unless Mayfield had decided to be ironic and pull in Carrie Fisher, or a really good look alike. He held out his hand in greeting.]

Name's Jazz, by the way.

Do you think you might teach me? I should like to have a bit of home as well, but I'm not very used to styling my hair by myself.

Seems to be the luck of the draw, but I'm in a similar bind. They stuck me as a nurse, despite a few complications I have with the job.

I react very poorly to large amounts of blood, and I don't exactly have the best constitution. Treating the sick and injured isn't exactly the greatest when you have poor health yourself.
