[ACTION: 5718 Cunningham Lane]
[Well, now that the Carnival business seems to be settled, what's there to worry about? Not much, from this Autobot's perspective.]
[Enough to where he's currently sprawled lazily in the driveway of his house, spraying off his wheels with a hose. It's not a power-washer, but it'll have to do. Plus, it sort of feels good, to get the grit and whatnot out of his tires.]
[Fortunately, he seems to be in a fairly good mood, occasionally spraying the hose up into the air, so, it looks to be a good time to approach the giant alien robot, if you so desire.]

Havin' fun, mech?[He keeps himself light on his toes, though he doesn't show it outwardly. He understands this Sideswipe is not the Sideswipe he's used to. That much is obvious. But at least on the surface, his behavior hasn't shown him to be all that different. And back home, a Sideswipe in a happy, seemingly-playful mood usually ends in shenanigans. He won't be surprised if he ends up soaked from a mischievous blast from that hose.
But then, he's head of Special Ops for a reason, and he always gives it right back to the red mech as good as he gets back home. That particular smirk on his face would have been almost a dare, to the Lamborghini. Still. He is here for a reason...]
Wan'ed t'talk to yah 'bout somethin'.
no subject
[He trails off, leaving it at that. Instead, he goes back to spraying his wheels. As if he couldn't be bothered to look at who he was speaking to.]
[Wheels finished, he moves up to his legs. So very nonchalant about the whole thing.]
And what's that?
no subject
Aah, yeah, Jolt? What's he up to? Are you two mates? [Gossip, friendly chitchat, or just mild curiosity, regardless of what Sideswipe chose to think of the question, Jazz had always taken a very keen interest in the lives of the Autobots around him, for a variety of reasons. At the moment, it helped that whether they were from obviously different worlds or not, Sideswipe had always been one of the mechs he'd considered one of his closest friends.]
Mainly gettin' the frag outta dodge. Back home, Sideswipe I knew loved gettin' t'wreak a little havoc on an' off the battlefield. How 'bout you? I got ideas, if y'wanna hear 'em.

There's a quick conclusion to jump to.
[Unless Jolt had said something, which he sort of doubts. Jolt wasn't the type to. He taps a thumb over the top of the hose, spraying his other arm off now.]
Any ideas I had, we've already tried. We have tried for over two years now. Information is exhausted by now, unless the carnival turned up something useful for a change.
no subject
You look like you're having a good time!
[Why not stop and say hello? She hadn't had the chance to talk to this fellow yet. Now's an excellent chance to.]
no subject
[He shrugs.]
Well, why not? There's nothing going wrong at the moment.
no subject
[Realizing how silly that sounds, she laughs.]
I don't think I've seen you around before. I'm Dakki Sigal. You'd be...?
no subject
[He spreads his free hand, as if the answer should be obvious to the stranger.]
You haven't? Then you must be blind. [Amused at himself, he smirks.]
I'd be the Autobot having a damned good time.
no subject
I try to be observant. But sometimes you just don't run in to people around here. I'm sorry that I haven't noticed you, then.
no subject
If you ran into me, you'd have more of a problem than you do already, human. I'm made of metal.
It'd sound a lot like crunch. Not just chit-chat.
no subject
Okay, I didn't mean that literally. Also? I'm wearing nanoceran plating and have an S-Rank line shield on me. I'd probably bounce.
no subject
And? None of that means anything to me. You might as well have been speaking gibberish.
no subject
Alright. I'm done. That's enough of that.
[And then she turns about and resumes her jog. There was no conversation to be had here.]
no subject
[He calls out after her, regardless of whether or not she hears him.]
no subject
Let the questions, begin!-
Hey! Excuse me! Do you have a minute or two? Maybe more?
no subject
[... for the moment.]
Maybe. Depends on what you want... [He glances up.] Whoever you are.
no subject
-It's true!-
I've just been curious as to your technology. Clearly you're not from Earth. After all, you're clearly far more advanced than myself.
no subject
[The sarcasm there is practically tangible.]
I'm clearly more advanced than a lot of things. Including my own kind.
no subject
More advanced than even your own kind? Hmm... that's rather impressive.
-He's made that statement once or twice before...-
no subject
no subject
What will you do when you run into one of your own, that's more powerful than you are? Will you continue to boast about it despite the other still being stronger?
...
Or will you try to best them?
no subject
[He holds up a hand, examining it, and letting his blade unfold.]
Because, the only ones who I'd care to try and take down... are the enemy.
no subject
-A small pause and an impressed whistle-
Nice hardware.
no subject
[He just looks smug.]
Yes, I know it is. How kind of you to state the obvious.
no subject
If you want, I could easily make more statements.
no subject

no subject
Jolt is shy and there isn't anyone else here.

Well then, at least you have something to do during those long nights of boredom.
no subject
no subject
-He looks thoughtful for a moment.-
... and no complaints from the neighbors?
no subject
[He shrugs, looking around at the other houses.] If they put up a fuss, I've never heard it.
no subject
That means, you're doing it right.
no subject
no subject
I actually wouldn't really know. Since, I'm not you.
no subject
no subject
I suppose it would keep me from being bored all the time.
