ACTION • KRAMDEN ROAD.

[ It'd be safe to say that waking up in a strange place in a bed is entirely unusual for Aziraphale - considering he doesn't have a bed for any purpose other than for his only friend to nap in and that he doesn't sleep, all of this is very strange. He was a little more happy to find that he'd been given a set of rather fine clothes - but that was less important. He walks downstairs and almost has a very-unangelic heart attack - not a single book in sight. In fact, this is looking less and less like Soho and more and more like some elaborate joke to mess with his head, neither of which he is particularly appreciative of.

Opening the door, he steps outside and looks around - and there he stands, kind of wide-eyed and lost. Because this is not home and he certainly has no idea how to go about explaining it. Divinity only explains so much, after all, and he doesn't think anyone Up There would play this kind of joke on him (no matter how grand his part in stopping the end of the world was). ]

PHONE •  (OPEN)

[ There's a long silence before the sound of fumbling and a soft, lost little sigh - and then the angel gets the hang of it. Technology of any kind will always be lost on him. ]

Hello? Is anyone there?

[He almost pulls him in for a kiss. Instead he brushes his thumb over his cheek gently.]

Good. I don't want you to just be pitying me.

[mydear]

[ His eyes slip closed and he breathes out quietly. ]

I could never pity you, Crowley.

[eyesofaserpent]

[Tempting. You're tempting him, Angel. He doesn't actually realize he's moving closer.]

You better not.

[mydear]

I don't think I have it in me.

[ He's still keeping his eyes closed, enjoying the peace. ]

[eyesofaserpent]

[He pulls the angel's face slightly closer, closes the distance, and presses a gentle kiss to his lips.]

[mydear]

[ Aziraphale's eyes flicker and he doesn't really respond; he's not entirely sure if he should. He enjoys it, though, lifting his hand to hover near Crowley's cheek. ]

[eyesofaserpent]

[He ducks his head against Aziraphale's shoulder when he breaks the kiss.]

[mydear]

[ His hand moves quickly to rest on the back of Crowley's head gently, trying to soothe him as best he could. ]

Hush, it's quite alright, my dear. I... I rather enjoyed it.

[eyesofaserpent]

I think... This is going to be difficult.

[mydear]

[ His fingers tangle in Crowley's hair a little and he closes his eyes, breathing out softly. ]

Do you want me to stay away?

[eyesofaserpent]

[He shakes his head.]

[mydear]

Then we'll learn to manage.

[ He hesitates before he pulls the demon closer. ]

Give me a little time to sort out my feelings, dear. I'm a little here and there right now.

[eyesofaserpent]

Yeah... Of course.

[mydear]

[ He shifts, kissing his forehead gently. ]

I have to get used to being human before I can understand all the things I'm feeling, after all.

[eyesofaserpent]

It's not so bad, Angel. You'll get used to it.

[mydear]

I'm sure I will.

[ He keeps close, just enjoying the comfort. ]

[eyesofaserpent]

[He basks in the angel's presence and closeness.]

You're warm.

[mydear]

A side-effect of humanity, I'm sure.

[ He shifts in his chair, pulling him closer. He really adores having the demon this close and while he's not going to spent the time analysing his feelings now - that is for later, when he can give it the time and forethought it deserves - he isn't going to deny himself at present. ]

[eyesofaserpent]

You were warm before here, Angel. I always suspected it was a side-effect of you Grace, actually.

[mydear]

Oh. Well, that does make sense.

[eyesofaserpent]

[He drinks him in, hands sliding to his hips gently.]

I'm glad you're here, despite everything.

[mydear]

[ He says the words, but there's no bite to them; only fondness, deep and centuries long. ]

Well, someone has to keep an eye on you.

[eyesofaserpent]

I've managed okay without a watchdog... Well, kind of...

[His solitary wing flaps ever so slightly.]

[mydear]

Of course, dear, of course.

[ He simply holds him closer, not really wanting to let go. ]

[eyesofaserpent]

[His arms wrap around his waist.]

I mean... I had Rupert here until a few days ago...
