I guess you shouldn't really get used to anything good that you may get from this place. It doesn't really last.

[ You can hear his feet shuffling around in the background. He is trying to not sound disgruntled by the fact. Despite the fact that Haymitch is gone, he still thinks it is wisest for him to continue pretending. Be the best faker that he can be. Finally after several moments he says: ]

This place does like to torture us as much as it can.

It's not really torture. It's just frustrating.

A lot of frustrations can equal it. Which is one of the things they like to do here.

Though it's better then some of the things here.

No? Torture is extreme anguish of body or mind.

Having the few bright spots in this town taken away from you again and again brings anguish to the mind. And if you're here long enough it can seem like they're doing it simply to be cruel.

Mental and emotional torture exist as well after all.

Maybe compared to where you're from this place tortures you, but for me, it isn't. It's just annoying and frustrating.
