[Well looky here. Zombies. This is just great. Applejack's seen Nightmare of the Dead before, and that was a good reference for the last time there was zombies swarming Mayfield. Last time Theo kept the house pretty safe from them too, so she figures this will probably a good place to keep an eye on things.

Most of her friends can probably handle this too. It's not like they're new or can't....

OH SWEET CELESTIA APPLE BLOOM IS HERE NOW!!

And now there's an orange blur as a pony runs out into the street.]

Goldarn it, this town just enjoys making things difficult, doesn't it?!

Part B | Anywhere in Town

[There is a frantic orange pony running down the streets. Occasionally she checks the street signs with nothing but a look of annoyance. So much so that at some point, she feels the need to shout her frustration.]

Why can't Ah find Stevens Road?!

Part C | Outside 2239 Stevens Road

[Applejack has finally made it to where her little sister said she lives at and is now trying to find her. This involves pounding on doors and shouting. Hope your housemates are understanding Apple Bloom!]

Apple Bloom? APPLE BLOOM?! You okay! Are you here? Oh please don't tell me she's out in the town during this...

Only a few more blocks? Thanks so much. Ah'm trying to find mah little sister so Ah'm kinda rushing around. Probably not helping me find the right street...

I'd be worried too if my little sisters were here.

Really? Ah'd sure appreciate that. She just got her a bit ago, so probably has no idea what things like this in the town are like...

[Applejack takes a glance around them, trying to get herself situated again.]

So um, a few blocks this way, right?

It's definitely a tough adjustment.

[She nods as Applejack look about]

[Applejack looks around and notices that this spot seems to be relatively zombie free...]

Can you keep zombies away or something? Ah have a housemate that can control them, you know, and Ah'm just wondering how you going to keep us safe is all.

[She's actually asking out of curiosity than doubt. They way she said she'll get them there safely sounded pretty sincere to her after all.]

I'm Death. This bunch is a bit trickier than usual, but I can still deal with them.

....That's your name? Some rather morbid parents to name you that. Glad you can handle this though.

It's... what I am. Some people prefer to call me Didi.

What? Morbid? Well, Ah guess you look a bit morbid, but Ah've seen a young filly or two trying to look like that too and it just comes off silly, usually. Gothic or some such is what Ah think they call it. But Didi does sound a little nicer.

No, Death is what I am. But Didi is one of many names I've used. One of my favourites.

[Applejack was about to ask what exactly what that meant before it clicks into place that this town sometimes kidnaps more...special types.]

...Wait, you mean like actually Death? But you look like a hue-min. And Ah'm pretty sure most things have you looking like a skeleton.

The other one went with that option but... I figure when people die, what they really need is a friendly face.

But, um, that's rather nice of you to do so. Still, Ah take it you mean from where you're from? And not Equestria, huh?

Yeah. Different universes seem to have their own versions. There's another Death here from a place called the Discworld. He went for the skeleton thing.

Discworld? Ah never heard a place like that. So, um, did you know this other death before you showed up here? Do you like run into each other every once in awhile?

No. I thought it was just me... we both did.

Really? That's kinda interesting though, if you think about it. Where ever each of you from, you handle death for your entire world, huh? That's gotta be a tough job...

It's busy, that's for sure. But I get to meet all sorts of neat people. I only really mind when, well, the dead stop staying put.

[Applejack takes another look around for zombies at the "staying put" part...]

Ah kinda know what you mean... You'd think Ah wouldn't, but then, Ah wouldn't think Ah'd get involved with zombies twice, either...
