Non-Adventure; Cade gains his healing magic back

[adventurerextraordinaire]

Cade in uncharacteristically bummed. He had something really... special going while he was his alternate self, but now things are worse than before. He now has to go about his day trying to snap out of it.

[A. 305 Miller Street.]
[When Cade opens the front door this morning, there are two packages there. One is for him, and the other is for Jenny. He takes them inside and sets them on the table.

Upon opening his package, he finds his rapier, which his alternate had traded in for his healing powers. Now he has both. That's good, he guesses. He sighs, and looks at Jenny's box. It is much smaller.

Cade calls upstairs.]

"Jenny... you have a package. I think it might be something from your home."


[B. Phone.]
"*Sigh* Hey everyone... it's Cade Masters.

I just thought everyone should know that I have some powerful healing magic now. Diseases, poisons, wounds, you name it, I can probably take care of it for you. I won't charge you or anything either, so if you need it, or have any questions, just give me a ring."


[C. 339 Brady Lane.]
[Cade knocks on the door of Brady Lane. If anyone could use his healing, its Mika. Plus it will make him feel better to see his friend.]


[D. Olney's Tavern.]
[Cade is back at work, serving drinks. His heart isn't in it like usual, though.]

"No, you don't want me to stop, or no, it doesn't feel any better?

And its to be expected you aren't used to it. I don't know where else you might have met a healer from my world..."

[wolfishsurvivalist]

No, I...

[She covers her face with her hands and grumbles low in her throat, her ears drooping until they were flat against her scalp.]

Go ahead, I'll have to get over it sooner or later.

[adventurerextraordinaire]

"Okay... just, let me know if you need me to stop or anything."

[Cade's hands glow as he begins gently rubbing her leg again. The warm, pleasurable energies flow into to Mika once again.]

[wolfishsurvivalist]

Okay.

[She dropped into a flustered silence, her face going more than a little pink. Even still, her tail starts to thump quietly against the couch cushions.]

"Aww, there we go, just relax now."

[Cade continues to rub her leg, and slowly increases the amount of energy he heals her with, the sensations intensifying.]

[wolfishsurvivalist]

It feels weird...

[She chewed her lip, sinking back into the couch cushions as she began to slump. This was so bizarre compared to her other healings that she wasn't sure how to feel about it.]

"Yeah, you seem more sensitive to it than most...
I'm going to slowly increase the healing, if it is too much, just let me know, okay?"

[The pleasurable energies do indeed get stronger, and their warmth spreads farther, so that the whole lower half of Mika's body should be afire with the indescribable sensation now.]

Seriously?

[She groans, rubbing her face as she let her head fall back against the couch cushions.]

I should've known. Probably because my body's such a mess.

[Gritting her teeth, she found it hard not to bite her bottom lip to keep herself from doing something embarrassing.]

"Well, hopefully this will make your body a bit less of a mess..."

[Cade's hands aren't the only things glowing now; Mika's leg is too. The euphoria's intensity triples, flooding the wolf girl's body completely.]

[wolfishsurvivalist]

That's nnnnghhhhh--!

[Whatever Mika was going to say was gone, her though processes completely shut down as the sensory overload hit her like a sledgehammer between the eyes. The overwhelming and foreign sensation had her arch off the couch before her eyes rolled up into darkness and she collapsed, blacking out for an instant.]

[Well that's never happened before. Cade immediately stops the healing and feels Mika's pulse.]

"Mika? Mika!"

[wolfishsurvivalist]

[Her pulse was slowing gradually now that the magic isn't making it race, though Mika is slumped awkwardly against the cushions as if she'd been deboned. Groaning softly, she was slow to respond and when she did it was unintelligible.

Mostly because she wasn't completely awake yet.]

[Cade helps her lie more comfortably on the couch.]

"What was that, Mika? I couldn't understand..."

[wolfishsurvivalist]

[The mumbling hardly improves, though she does seem to be struggling a little to shift her arm. Well, more like her arm tries to move and it just shifts uselessly.]

[Cade looks at her with concern and stays by her side seeing if she comes to.]

[wolfishsurvivalist]

[After a moment she manages to lift her hands to her face, rubbing her eyes as she groans.]

Is it supposed to do that...?

[adventurerextraordinaire]

[Cade looks slightly confused.]

"Do what? I'm not even sure what happened. It's never hurt anyone before."

[wolfishsurvivalist]

No, I don't think hurt is the word for it.

[A shiver hits her and she shakes her fur out, rubbing her face with both hands.]

"So, you're okay then?"

[wolfishsurvivalist]

Yeah, I just wasn't ready for it, I guess.

[adventurerextraordinaire]

[Cade studies her curiously.]

"I've never seen anyone pass out from it before... what happened?"

[wolfishsurvivalist]

Not sure, it was just really overwhelming. I've never felt anything like it before.

[adventurerextraordinaire]

"okay then... are you okay with more?"

[wolfishsurvivalist]

I guess so...

[She chews on her lip a little, then nods.]

[adventurerextraordinaire]

[Cade kneels by her side, close enough that she can grab him easily if she needs to. He places his hands on her thigh and again uses his healing magic, channeling a steady, strong stream of the pleasurable positive energy into Mika.]
