Twenty-Sixth File.

[ Action: 1335 Benny Road. ]

[ SUP, HOUSEMATES? Were you expecting to get up on your normal hours? Yes? Well, Diana has a different idea by making things suddenly levitate and crash into the walls, the windows - anything and everything she can get her hands on. While she's doing this, she definitely doesn't look like the refined and calm lady she used to be. In fact, she actually looks deranged. ]

I hate you, I hate you, I hate you--!

[ Care to see what has her all riled up? ]

[ Action: Anywhere. ]

[ Diana seems hellbent on making her name known in Mayfield as she's walking down the streets, flipping cars over, bending street signs, breaking windows all with her telekinesis. She doesn't care that she's abusing her powers since she thinks that humanity deserves to be punished. Humanity is the one who caused the near-destruction of Epyaxa, even though they promised they would change.

But, it was just that - empty, broken promises. Everyone eventually used each other and she was determined to make them see the error of their ways.

You're free to try to restrain her, but she will fight. ]

( OOC: In her AU, Diana never came back after sacrificing herself and the green discharges eventually made their way into her brain, and therefore, caused her to go crazy and made her hate humanity as a whole. If you'd like to be the one to take her down, feel free! )

[Ed spots Diana a little ways down the street and for a moment he hesitates. He wasn't sure he wanted to talk to anyone. Not yet, anyway.

But then --

Wait.

What?

What the actual fuck did that car just flip over???]

Di?

[Not good. This is not good. He runs to meet her halfway.]

What the hell are you doing, Di?!

[ That it did, Ed. And guess what, the adjacent car will flip over next!

She does notice Ed, but she doesn't look like her normal self at all. In fact, she looks deranged, hair unkempt and everything else. ]

If humanity doesn't care about the planet they live on, why should we bother trying to save it? It should just perish like the rest!

[BRB JUMPING OUT OF HIS SKIN.

He stares at the car, eyes wide.]

What are you... what are you talking about?

[ Yes, that's the expression to have before she throws her head back, letting out a deranged sort of laugh. ]

Open your damned eyes for once! Everything isn't as black and white as you think it is! Everyone eventually hurts everyone else!

[Ok wow.

Ed takes a small step back, legitimate concern in his eyes. This is a side of Diana he's never seen before. One he never wanted to see. And that laugh...]

Calm down, Di! This isn't like you. What happened?

[ Diana won't allow herself to be so easily taken. After all, people were selfish. ]

You want to know what happened? You want to know what happened? Oh, well, let's see - humanity decided that after a while, they were going to repeat their mistakes and cause destruction of their own home. So, it's humanity's fault. It always is!

[He's legitimately confused. Ed doesn't know much about what happened during the three years that passed for her, they hadn't quite gotten around to talking about any of it. It was something she wasn't quite ready to discuss so he'd dropped the issue, he figured she'd tell him when she was ready to, if she even wanted to.

... He was starting to think that he should've pushed a little harder.]

I'm sorry. I really am, but... you can't blame the entirety of humanity for that.

[ It may not be time to pretend Ed is Shugo and beat things up in his name, but Satou's at least here to give Diana a warning. She's holding a metal pipe as she approaches, glaring at the woman with glowing pink eyes. ]

What are you doing? This is dangerous! You know that, don't you?

[ The sight is almost laughable as Diana chuckles darkly, grinning at Satou as if she was her next target. ]

I do, but the question you should ask is if I care. And, guess what? I don't!

[ She holds her ground, unbothered by Diana's chuckles or the way she's being watched. It's okay. Satou is a tool. Tools can handle a bit of pain. ]

If you decide that's the cause, I'll have no choice but to punish you. So I'll ask you one time; Stop this at once! I don't want to have to hurt you. [ Because hurting things is all she can do with these regains. ]

[ Funny, Diana thinks. This girl thinks she can stand up to her, when she's got the upper hand here? She obviously had another thing coming. ]

Hurt me all you want, but it'll prove to be worthless in the end. Why don't you give up now and save yourself the hassle?

I should be saying such a thing to you.

[ She steps forward, dragging the pipe along the ground. ]

Is this some form of telekinesis? You're not going to accomplish anything with such a limited arsenal. Flipping cars and breaking various objects... You've reduced yourself to being a mere child throwing a temper tantrum. It's painful to watch you.

I've been around the block a few times.

[ She narrows her eyes and holds her hand up and attempts to push Satou back. ]

You shouldn't be so quick to judge others, child. Isn't that what your mother taught you, or was she just as careless as you?

[ And like that, her other hand raises and she flings a shovel at Satou, using her telekinesis. ]

Don't talk about Mama that way!

[ A flicker of pink darts passed Satou's shoulder, reducing the shovel to dust. Satou's expression is harsher now as she points her metal pipe at Diana. ]

It's not my fault. Some people force me to judge them quickly. You're one of those people.

Seems like I've struck quite the nerve in you.

[ Diana assumes she'll have to try harder, so as soon as the shovel is decimated, she'll decide to chuck a wheelbarrow at her next. ]

Like you could ever hope to understand me, kid. Take a hike if you know what's good for you.

Understanding the insane isn't really a priority.

[ Again. Satou fires a small bullet of magic at the wheelbarrow, choosing to knock it to the side rather than destroy it. During the gap between the wheelbarrow and the next object, Satou summons a flurry of firefly-sized pink glows behind her and sends them at Diana. ]

I'll repeat myself: You shouldn't be so quick to judge.

[ As the wheelbarrow tumbles to the side, she takes a moment to notice what's going on behind her. Next, she'll roll away and chuck a sign right for Satou. ]

[ Satou takes a few steps back, cursing her human's body for being so slow, and fires another wave of small bullets at Diana. ]

Throw things all you want. When I get tired of dodging, I'll just destroy your ammo! You cannot defeat the Witch of Sins with such pity feelings!

[ Let's see how well ice wrapping around her feet stop her. This Yukihina might believe that he isn't supposed to be handling an Ice Power, but when he has it, he'll make use of it. ]

[ Diana shivers when she feels the ice around her feet as she tries to wiggle out of it. ]

Who dares to try and stop me?

I do. [ Short, simple, and a very exact answer. Had he been normal, he'd not said a word. ] Calm down, woman.

Gee, thanks for stating the obvious. Are you going to leave me to my devices or will you go away?

I'll only leave if you stop that.

[Shoutaro, as Phllip, is busy musing about the town, a book in hand, and wrapped in a blanket, that's been slightly altered into a hoodie. And he'll notice the cars getting flipped. A sly smile crosses his face, and he's off towards the apparent source.]

Telekenesis. An interesting phenomenon. Can you tell me how you came about it?

[But now he's noticed who it is being closer and all.]

Destroying things is Klaus's job! You could have at least told him you were going on a marauding spree before you started smashing everything up. Leave something for your villain buddy, gosh.

He ducks under a car, which smashes into the half-fixed soldier clank on his lawn.]
