[Claire is not happy. He was there the whole time and was going to go inside after scouting out the area. Unfortunately the little explosion kind of put a damper on his plans so he just decided to go home.]

Considerin' that little announcement, it seems like someone messed somethin' pretty important up back there. Don't get me wrong here, I'm not sayin' I like this place. I don't not one bit, especially since it seems to have the power to overwrite what I try to bring into this temporary world of mine. Oh 'n I congratulate whoever came up with the plan to blow up the place. But still, couldn't you have just held off just a little bit longer? I mean I bet that...ahh...what's her face...the one-eyed chick...would've had a little more self control than what you people had. 'N believe me, that's sayin' somethin'.

Now, anyone care to explain why my left arm's suddenly decided to stop workin' 'n start beedin' all over the place?

Yeah, maybe you're right. Then again it did take everyone awhile before they started droppin' like flies from that bomb that went off a couple months ago. So maybe this is just another one of their little games? Maybe the machine really did nothin' and everythin' was just an act. I mean with this place you never know.

I'm not so sure about if it didn't do anything or not-it must have done something-like I said, the mayor was genuinely angry it broke.

...But at the same time... I can't help but feel like it was intentional-like someone wanted us to break it.

The whole place exploded a couple months ago. Long story short if the cannibals didn't get you the air did. There were also rumors flyin' around back then that the mayor himself died sometime during the whole mess.

Well, they did let slip that they were opein' the place up, right? It could've been some kinda set up from the beginnin' if that were the case.

It's a little too coincidental that we just so happened to hear the part of the conversation about the faulty machine in the dairy and that it would be left open for a short period of time. Someone must have suspected that we would jump at the chance to get in the dairy and that some of us would rather destroy rather than investigate.

If that's the case 'n they did want us to break it. I wonder what they have planned after it's fixed...if it ever gets fixed that is. I mean they had to have had a bigger plan than just "Let's tell everyone that the machine needs fixed and let them blow it up!"
