[Action] Backdated to Mother's day....

[Mindy got up early on Mother's day, and her not!family will find somewhat lumpy and slightly overdone pancakes on the table. And there is a handmade card sitting by Fate's plate. It heavily leans on glitter and the color pink to deliver Mindy's mother's day wishes. It's the thought that counts? She sure seems excited.]

[Mindy has been in Mayfield long enough to know that today is the day when she can convince way more people to pay attention to her for some reason. So she might as well take advantage of it.]

[Nozomi blinked as she was approached by the girl, asking her to play a game. She couldn't help but smile and nod, though.]

Sure! What did you want to play?

Do you like hopscotch?

Hopscotch? Wow, I haven't done that in awhile! I wouldn't mind playing that, then!

Great! I'll draw the board!

[She pulls a piece of chalk out of her pocket and starts drawing on one of the paths. It's a standard hopscotch board.]

Do you wanna go first, or should I?

Oh, I can't go first - it was your idea! You go first!

[She picks up a small stone and tosses it into the first square, then skips the course. First square is easy, so it's no problem.]

Your turn!

Okay!

[And Nozomi follows suit, tossing a stone on the first square, then making her way through the course - thankfully not wiping out on the way across]

Now it's your turn!

[Second square is a little tougher, but she still makes it. Mindy has a lot of practice at this game.]

I used to play this a lot before I came to Mayfield. And sometimes I still do at recess.

I have to admit, it's really fun... though, I don't think some of my friends would like to see me playing this.

[she playfully grins at Mindy before she makes her move, slightly stumbling as she made the turn back.]
