[Sazh wakes up feeling a bit weird this morning. While everything seems pretty normal, he's suddenly feeling very connected of his not!family. Well, okay, really he's suddenly feeling like Bazett is almost a daughter he never had. And so now he's cooking breakfast and cleaning, the baby chocobo in his fro occasionally peeking out and flying in the kitchen. It's not like he hasn't taken care of his not!family in his time in Mayfield, but it seems to be on overdrive, considering the massive spread on the table. Sazh isn't sure what Bazett's favorite food is (shame on him for not paying attention) so he's basically cooked everything he could think of.

[This day has been pretty weird so far so a walk might be in order. While he's always ready to lend a helping hand, he seems to be really going out of his way to help any women in distress. Kitten stuck in a tree? He'll brave the highest branches. Need groceries but you forgot your wallet? Here's a donation from the first bank of Sazh. Need someone wash your windows? [Sazh looks at the table. Then to Bazett. Then to the table.] Did I make too much? [Scratches the back of his head sheepishly.]

[There's a peep as the baby chocobo hovers at a respectable distance from Bazett.]

No...Well at least I don't think so. [Date conversions? What's that?]

I just started cooking and I wasn't sure what you liked so... [Welp.] Well, help yourself to whatever you'd like.

Did you...do this for me? But...it is not my birthday.

[He looks a bit confused.]

[She downs it and frowns.]

[ A still half-sleeping JK wanders into the kitchen. He blinks at how much food Sazh's making. ]

Wow. Is it someone's birthday or something? What date is it?

I don't think it's anyone's birthday.. [Takes a moment to glance at a convenient wall-calendar.] Says May 13th. Is that important? Some sort of holiday around here? Mother's Day I think is what it says.

Right, that's today! [ He totally needs to start keeping better track of the dates, and not just what day in the week it is. ] Then I get it, it's the same day in Japan too. Maybe I should get her flowers or something?

Flowers! That's what we forgot. Not a bad idea.
