Yo, Mayfield, Marisa Kirisame here. I have two really important things, ze.

Second! We all know the Prom is coming up. I'm sure you're all getting tired of hearing about it. But! This is different. This is me announcing the After-Prom Party. Now this is for the, quote, teenagers - meaning those of us that are forced to go to high school, so I know not all of you are actually teenagers. But you get the point.

Anyways, it'll be at 1486 Kramden. [Which is the house of one Arcueid Brunestud if anyone recognizes the address.] There will be all that stuff After-Prom Parties are supposed to have and there won't be any stuffy sticks-in-the-mud spoiling the fun there. So there will be good refreshments~

I almost miss it, the life back home. Having to go to school wasn't all that bad once I got to the Clock Tower, but living as one of the many talented magi in that world was pretty dangerous. I'm a lot safer here. Mm, especially since I have my Lancer.

If I wasn't a bit of an exhibitionist, I'd find the idea of him watching really creepy.

Lance aside, how are you safer here? You had all your limbs cut off and metal put in your body. What's Clock Tower?

I just think it's easier to assume he's watching every little thing I do. Which is why there are so many holes in the bathroom on a nightly basis...

It was temporary and I did come back to life after all of that. [ People sort of die when killed back home. ] The Clock Tower is an institution for the Mage's Association. I have something that's of value to a lot of magi and they would kill me to take it when I least expect it. Going to school with peers who would backstab me the moment they got a chance to, well, maybe I'm just unusually cautious as well. With a powerful familiar in this place, I'm well protected.

Really? That must be something something, ze. What is it?

Something that's been passed down in my family and belongs rightfully to me. Most prestige magi families have one, but it doesn't hurt to steal one that belongs to someone else. Especially if you're not the rightful heir to your family's.

Well, it isn't my fault you're from another world entirely. Very well though. Haven't you ever wondered before how I could perform some spells without bothering with incantations? As though they were memorized and I had no need for vocal components?

I just figured it was cause you're good like me. I can do that, too. I just usually don't cause it takes more energy and its good form in danmaku to announce your spellcard.

Well, of course it's because I'm so good, but there's also a miniscule amount of that skill attributed to someone I inherited from my father.

Yes, my father's father and then the one before him and huh, I forget how many generations we are. [ She really hasn't, it's just embarrassing and prideful all at the same time. ] In short, there's a neat crest inside of me. I'm not going to tell you where though in case you try to abstract it.
