Yo, Mayfield, Marisa Kirisame here. I have two really important things, ze.

First! ...I need someone to teach me how to tie a tie. The, uh, suit kind of tie.

Second! We all know the Prom is coming up. I'm sure you're all getting tired of hearing about it. But! This is different. This is me announcing the After-Prom Party. Now this is for the, quote, teenagers - meaning those of us that are forced to go to high school, so I know not all of you are actually teenagers. But you get the point.

Anyways, it'll be at 1486 Kramden. [Which is the house of one Arcueid Brunestud if anyone recognizes the address.] There will be all that stuff After-Prom Parties are supposed to have and there won't be any stuffy sticks-in-the-mud spoiling the fun there. So there will be good refreshments~

Oh. One more thing. Patchy? Thought I'd let you know I'm gonna go do something dangerous. [Hear the grin in her voice?]

Well, it isn't my fault you're from another world entirely. Very well though. Haven't you ever wondered before how I could perform some spells without bothering with incantations? As though they were memorized and I had no need for vocal components?

I just figured it was cause you're good like me. I can do that, too. I just usually don't cause it takes more energy and its good form in danmaku to announce your spellcard.

Well, of course it's because I'm so good, but there's also a miniscule amount of that skill attributed to someone I inherited from my father.

Yes, my father's father and then the one before him and huh, I forget how many generations we are. [ She really hasn't, it's just embarrassing and prideful all at the same time. ] In short, there's a neat crest inside of me. I'm not going to tell you where though in case you try to abstract it.

Oh. [Said really flatly. It's pretty odd to hear that tone coming from Marisa.] So that's what the artifact on your arm is.

[It did glow pretty brightly during the messed up memory spell. And there always had been a certain concentration of magic there that she could sense. She'd just always figured it had to do with Lancer as Rin's command seals USED to be on her hand. She just never bothered to think much about it when the seals moved to the back of the mage's neck.]

I couldn't use it if I had it. Remember - no circuit thingies in me. My magic is external, not internal. [Which means it's a lot harder. She sighs. Yet another instance of someone being gifted with their power or born with it. Sucks to be an ordinary human sometimes.]

Correct, it's fairly powerful in it's own way. Although it would be nearly pointless to take it without the proper training. [ She remembers just how pissed off she was at Mayfield for taking it from her from the start. ] If you ever wanted to annoy me, that would be the best way.

Well, and a way to make me pretty powerless too. [ Maybe she should learn when to keep her mouth shut. ] Not that this town has any trouble doing that on whim.
