[Mom Lalonde sounds almost distracted today, or perhaps just bored.]

I have a proposition for any interested young people who may wish to take on a job after school. I wish to hire a personal assistant to aid me in several small projects I plan to undertake in the near future.

[She pauses, for a sip of her drink.]

Nothing of particular importance, just something to occupy my time. The job will entail taking dictation, some light filing, and running simple errands. Compensation is negotiable, but intended to be more than adequate.

Not in the slightest. I don't intend to anything the town should be concerned about just yet.

Initially I simply want to examine the limits of our prison. I think finding out the basic parameters of the location are important. Once we know what they are.... then we begin testing them.

Oi! That's quite the challenge. The town just overlaps itself. One end of Anderson street creates leads to the same end all in a row. [ ...oh boy oh boy does she admire roxy. ]

True. But we have little information about what resides above and below. And of course, I don't mean just physical boundaries.

The town follows certain rules. These may conform to the rules of any other place, but they do exist. And I for one would like to know exactly what they are.

[Because knowing the rules helps you to understand how to break them.]

Well, it's a shame I don't have my strength. I could have helped with finding out what's below.

Of course all places must follow certain laws. But, finding out how Mayfield conforms to the rules will be more troublesome than anything else.
