A-Ah, hello everyone...have any of you ever received an empty package? At least, empty of any meaningful objects...mine only had a picture on it, a small white orb...but I have no idea what it means.

Is the picture not supposed to represent an immaterial thing being returned? I don't remember ever having anything of that nature...I'm so very confused...

II - [action, all around town]
[Still horribly confused about what's happened (and whatever a "light orb" might be), Kotomi tries to go through the rest of her day as normal as possible. She can be found virtually anywhere--at the school, at the grocery store, walking around, or at 728 Anderson, and all looks normal. Except, if you can sense that kinda thing, she seems to be radiating a large aura of magic, very pure and untainted magic, enough to make anyone who didn't know she had this sort of "power" (read: everyone) do a double-take.

She herself is blissfully unaware of any of this.]

[Going about your business, Kotomi? Whelp, there's a familiar stuffed spider bouncing off of you. Yamame had been playing about the house, and it seems she's flung her spider. Here she comes, floating through the house to retrieve it.]

Spider-san shouldn't try to fly like that!

[Upon getting closer to Kotomi, though, Yamame will kind of freeze and give her a speculative look. Seemingly worried something might be wrong, Yamame speaks in a flat tone.]

Kaa-san is different.

[heartmaestro]

Different...? What do you mean? [She sets aside what she was reading, gazing warily at the younger girl.]

[thug_disease]

[Yamame crosses her arms, giving the woman in front of her a stern look.]

Kaa-san never had magical energy before. Who are you?

[heartmaestro]

M-Magical energy? [She glances at the box.] I'm still...Kotomi...

[thug_disease]

[Yamame's gonna lean in REAL close to Kotomi, looking right at her eyes.]

It seems like Kaa-san.

[heartmaestro]

T-That's because it is. [Blink-blink.] Perhaps whatever you are sensing...

[She holds up the photo from the box.]

[Yamame stares at that picture for a long moment, before giving Kotomi a look.]

Why is this person showing Yamame a silly picture?

[heartmaestro]

It's what I received in the mail today...I am thinking whatever change you sense is because of it.

[thug_disease]

[Yamame narrows her eyes at the picture, then at Kotomi, then at the picture again.]

Then Kaa-san is not human?

[heartmaestro]

N-No, I am...99.7% sure that I am human. But I do not know what this is, or why it gave me an aura of magic...

That leaves a .3% unknown.

[Yamame looks Kotomi up and down one more time, and decides to just let it go.]

Okay then! [With that, she'll take her spider and begin running around, playing whatever in the hell she was playing in the first place. Pretty sure it's Yamame's version of Calvinball.]
