A-Ah, hello everyone...have any of you ever received an empty package? At least, empty of any meaningful objects...mine only had a picture on it, a small white orb...but I have no idea what it means.

Is the picture not supposed to represent an immaterial thing being returned? I don't remember ever having anything of that nature...I'm so very confused...

II - [action, all around town]
[Still horribly confused about what's happened (and whatever a "light orb" might be), Kotomi tries to go through the rest of her day as normal as possible. She can be found virtually anywhere--at the school, at the grocery store, walking around, or at 728 Anderson, and all looks normal. Except, if you can sense that kinda thing, she seems to be radiating a large aura of magic, very pure and untainted magic, enough to make anyone who didn't know she had this sort of "power" (read: everyone) do a double-take.

She herself is blissfully unaware of any of this.]

WOAH. Woah. That's a lot of magical potential..and Twilight knows all about having a lot of magical potential. They kind of sense each other, you know? It may be a bit one sided unless Kotomi can sense magic herself, but otherwise, PONY!)

...that is certainly an option to consider. [A pause.] I still do wonder exactly what it is, though.

II. BECAUSE.

[ On the surface this girl was like all the other humans, and despite her own little 'curse' as she put it, normally she'd scamper past Kotomi as fast as possible.

However, this oddity made her stop and turn around. The amount of magical power radiating off of her was huge. Nitori had little magical power - she was much more experienced in manipulating it within her own technology - but even she could feel this aura. It was very hard to ignore! ]

G-Gehh - ???

[ Cue Nitori skittering and stopping right in front of Kotomi, arms outstretched. ]

Wait!

[Blink-blink. She stops abruptly.] ...yes?

In the house

[Going about your business, Kotomi? Whelp, there's a familiar stuffed spider bouncing off of you. Yamame had been playing about the house, and it seems she's flung her spider. Here she comes, floating through the house to retrieve it.]

Spider-san shouldn't try to fly like that!

[Upon getting closer to Kotomi, though, Yamame will kind of freeze and give her a speculative look. Seemingly worried something might be wrong, Yamame speaks in a flat tone.]

Kaa-san is different.

[heartmaestro]

Different...? What do you mean? [She sets aside what she was reading, gazing warily at the younger girl.]

[Hayate couldn't sense magical output for beans. But she radiated it like anything else. That's why she would just slightly almost bump into Kotomi while at the grocery store.]

Oh, excuse me!

[I wonder what happens when you get two powerful magical auras in the same room....]

[She gives a slight bow.] It is no problem.

Action 2

[Kotomi, you might see Engie today grabbing lots of scrap metal from around town. It looks like he has his next big project all planned out. Deep in thought, he walks through town with wheelbarrow in hand, muttering calculations to himself.]

[ . . . she'll just waddle on over.] Mister Engineer? What are you doing?
