A-Ah, hello everyone...have any of you ever received an empty package? At least, empty of any meaningful objects...mine only had a picture on it, a small white orb...but I have no idea what it means.

Is the picture not supposed to represent an immaterial thing being returned? I don't remember ever having anything of that nature...I'm so very confused...

II - [action, all around town]
[Still horribly confused about what's happened (and whatever a "light orb" might be), Kotomi tries to go through the rest of her day as normal as possible. She can be found virtually anywhere--at the school, at the grocery store, walking around, or at 728 Anderson, and all looks normal. Except, if you can sense that kinda thing, she seems to be radiating a large aura of magic, very pure and untainted magic, enough to make anyone who didn't know she had this sort of "power" (read: everyone) do a double-take.

She herself is blissfully unaware of any of this.]

In case you haven't noticed, Mayfield makes the impossible possible. Besides, nopony can give off magical auras like that without being able to use magic.

Ichinose?

[Just the amount of magic she senses is enough to give her pause.]

Mmm. [Another pause.] I hope it is not dangerous.

Well, yes, but...I am really just an ordinary human being. Perhaps you're sensing someone else...?

There is a large degree of prana radiating off of you. It is...as if your prana is bleeding into the air.

[She wonders why the girl does not show any pain despite her magic circuits being open.]

Are you aware of this?

Maybe it's something you get in the future?

...that is certainly an option to consider. [A pause.] I still do wonder exactly what it is, though.

It is basically magical energy. You know what Patchouli does, right? Well, that requires prana. Right now, you are radiating it.

[She looks the girl over.]

Do you feel any pain right now, Ichinose?

She's inclined to not believe random talking magical unicorns on the street, but...Bazett wasn't a liar as far as she knew.]

N-No. I'm...alright.

[ On the surface this girl was like all the other humans, and despite her own little 'curse' as she put it, normally she'd scamper past Kotomi as fast as possible.

However, this oddity made her stop and turn around. The amount of magical power radiating off of her was huge. Nitori had little magical power - she was much more experienced in manipulating it within her own technology - but even she could feel this aura. It was very hard to ignore! ]

G-Gehh - ???

[ Cue Nitori skittering and stopping right in front of Kotomi, arms outstretched. ]

Wait!

If there is no pain, then you probably have some system other than magic circuits.

[Or just have unique ones that keep her from feeling the pain of channeling prana through her body.]

Have you spoken to Patchouli yet?

It's coming directly from you. Besides, I've heard that even ordinary humans can use magic.

[Going about your business, Kotomi? Whelp, there's a familiar stuffed spider bouncing off of you. Yamame had been playing about the house, and it seems she's flung her spider. Here she comes, floating through the house to retrieve it.]

Spider-san shouldn't try to fly like that!

[Upon getting closer to Kotomi, though, Yamame will kind of freeze and give her a speculative look. Seemingly worried something might be wrong, Yamame speaks in a flat tone.]
