[Action 1: Outside 1333 Benny...in the doghouse]

[White...it's all white. Sonic reaches forward, reaching for anything, not finding a thing until his eyes close again, and his hand hits the ground. It's grass.]

Did...did I just dream that? What was that thing?

[He raises his head a bit before opening his eyes...though they pop open when he bangs his head on the doghouse wall above his head.]

OW!

[Rubbing his head, he blinks and crawls out of the doghouse, clearly confused. And quite naked. Well...naked for him.]

I think it really did happen. The force from the monster's suction must've pulled my gloves clean off.

[He taps his foot against the grass. And notices something much more disturbing.]

My shoes! Ok, now i know something's wrong!

[His first instinct is to go bang on the house door nearest to him.]

HEYYY! Open up!

[Action 2: In town]

Man...this sucks.

[No speed. None at all. And even if he COULD go fast, his feet would likely burn up from the friction of the ground. And the concrete against his bare feet didn't feel too great to move at whatever speed he could muster.]

Just what is this place? And that monster that brought me here?

[Yep Mayfield...Sonic thinks the Time Eater is part of you.]

Have you checked your house's garage? They usually have a bunch of tools there!

If not, we can go to the tool shop, but the stores don't like pets very much...

Well let's see then!

[Picking up the materials, Sonic lead them around and into the garage. Sure enough, there were some basic tools in there.]

They're kinda high up. Think you fly up and grab em? I don't trust my agility at the moment.

Okay!

(Effortlessly flies up there and passes the tools to Sonic.)

Are you going to put it all together now?

Yep. Won't be nearly as good as a job that Tails would do, but it'll work.

[Hammerhammerhammer....]

(Watching with the utmost curiosity a kitty can offer.)

[Sonic tests the wheels, to make sure they're spaced evenly enough to roll. He then sets it down and tests how much weight it can take.]

(And since she's never seen anything like this before, she is CLEARLY AMAZED because WHEELS AND MOVING AND STANDING ON IT!)

(She has no idea how Sonic is managing that, but ITS SO COOL! And watching him stand on his hands makes her want to float around upside down...so she does.)

You're pretty amazing yourself. I had a friend that could do that, but he had to go back to do his duty to the planet.

[Ahh Chip. Such pleasant memories.]

He could fly, too? I know a lot of people who can fly; most of them can use magic!

Chip could use magic too. He once turned himself into a giant golem to fight his counterpart. It was awesome!

Was he a shape shifter? I know a shape shifter here; he can turn into a "Tea Wrecks!"

(She meant to say T-rex, but yeah...)

Nah. There were these temples we were visiting, and since he's connected to them, he sucked them allll underground and used them to make a huge body for himself.

A T-rex huh? Now that sounds cool!

Oh, like a golem! That must've been a really big battle!

It was! I should take you to him some time; his name's Beast Boy!

It was. I had to run down his arm and attack the things' eye, and then battled his tentacles.

[He making shadow punches as he explains this.]

Interesting name your buddy's got there. Sounds like a superhero.

Tentacles? That must've been awful!

(Japanese girls are too vulnerable to tentacles.)

I think he is a superhero! I don't know where from, but he could be a superhero! Who can't be a super hero when you can transform into a tea wrecks!?

It was pretty bad. The world would've crumbled if we didn't stop it. But, these things usually end up in my favor.

Yep. But...then Chip had to go back to sleep. He only needs to be awake when the thing is.

[He's still smiling at this though. He knows Chip did what he had to do. No use crying over it.]

So he can only be awake when he has to be?

I'm afraid so. And if he has to come back, I'll help him out in any way I can.

Though, hopefully I won't have to Werehog out that time.
