Scene 13: Freaky Friday!

A: Action: 311 Miller Street

[This is not Toni's beautiful house. This is not Toni's beautiful hair. This is not Toni's beautiful wardrobe... although this lady clearly has taste.

Toni manages to stave off the panic long enough to explore the house and get her bearings. There are clowns. And wizards. Everywhere. Now that freaks her out a little. Fortunately, it also doesn't take her long to find the alcohol. Toni's not a big drinker, but, man, she's stuck in someone else's body. In a house full of clowns. This is a special occasion.]

B: phone:

[Receiver in one hand, martini in the other.]

Hey, this is Toni. I think Mayfield's being Mayfield again. I'm not sure who's body I'm in right now, but I really love your scarf! I hope you don't mind, but I kind of helped myself to some drinks. Sorry! I'll pay you back when this is over!

I see you got caught up in this madness. I haven't, but I suppose it's small mercies.

[Dad's sitting in the living room reading the newspaper as Toni!Mom starts rummaging through the liquor cabinet.]

Gin's in the back. Fixed myself a night cap last night.

[ Tsunade was just undroned. Snapping back to reality, the first thing she did was just leave the dishes as they were. Someone was doing them, but it sure as hell wasn't going to be her. Upon hearing the phone message, several things just struck her as odd. This was Roxy's voice, not Toni's. Who was Toni anyways? And why was she drinking their supply of alcohol!? These questions (and one selfish thought) floated through Tsunade's head before replying. Mayfield being Mayfield, uncertainty of bodies...

Mayfield was transporting people's consciousness into other individual's minds. It wasn't totally unheard of in Tsunade's world, but it was rare. ]

You're in the body of Roxy Lalonde. Did Mayfield put your mind in someone else's body? [ She might as well get conformation on her suspicions. If it's not this, she's not sure what it could be besides utterly horrifying and suckish. Suddenly, being droned wasn't so awful. ]
