11th--[Action] ...not-so tiny today! [Event]
[Outside 1766 Beaver Street]
["Seras" has gotten up rather late today. Partially because someone else usually swings by to pick her up for school earlier in the day, and mostly because "Seras" wasn't Seras at all. She was Flandre, and had centuries of the sleeping habits of being a nocturnal creature.
After wandering around the house, staring at herself in the mirror and then pointedly avoiding all reflective surfaces and wondering why everything was so small, she has gone outside to the lawn and...flops over onto her back in the grass.]
...I forgot what it's like without any wings at all.
[She has a rather un-Seras-like French accent.]
This is annoying.
[And just like all those years and years had wound back and she was human again. The world seemed quieter, the clouds less distinct--and when she held her hand up, there were no claws on her fingers like there should have been.
Noticeably absent is the collective panic attack much of Mayfield seems to be suffering lately. But, after all--Flandre believed this all was just one long, strange dream. What was one more odd thing to dream about?]

[Flandre pauses yet again; had that worked?
Then Meiling is picking her up and squeezing her and things were right again. She squeaks! Obviously she can't...actually purr, so she hums instead as she pillows her head against Meiling's shoulder.]
I found Meiling! Or, Meiling found me, but it doesn't matter.
[...this must look so weird to any witnesses.]

Meiling relaxes her hold and gives Flandre a good once-over. ] That's an... interesting body you ended up in. Do you know her?
no subject
[Flandre can't chirp either, but she can tilt her head!]
No, I didn't. Why do you ask?
no subject
Patchouli switched out with someone, too, and she seemed to know who it was. I got lucky, I guess, but I need to see if everyone else is okay. [ She looks around. ] Have you talked to your sister yet, today? Or Sakuya? Or anyone at all?
no subject
...this happened to everyone? Except you?
[Now she blinks.]
I haven't seen anyone else yet today, besides myself in the mirror. Or...not myself, but whoever this is.
[She is still weirded out by this whole MIRRORS WORKING thing.]
no subject
Are you feeling okay? This has to be really weird for you.
no subject
It's not so bad, I guess. Except now I can't fly at all or climb things or see in the dark, and it hurts a lot more if I fall on my face.
no subject
[ After shaking her head. ] We'll have to be careful with that body. Do you feel human?
no subject
I...think so. It's like I can't hear things now, or see them right.
[And this form feels slightly sluggish, but that may be the fact that she's not used to being three times her usual size.]
no subject
no subject
I...think so, yes.
[...holy shit she is NOT used to being almost at eye level with Meiling. At all.
So she's just going to lean away a bit. A lot of a bit.]
no subject
[ Meiling then looks toward the house. ] Do you know who else lives here?
no subject
[That pressure on her back makes her stop before she falls, at least.]
No...or, I don't remember. One of those.
no subject
Do you want to get something to eat? I can make you lunch back at our house and then I'll go looking for the others.
no subject
[STANDING BACK UP OF HER OWN VOLITION NOW.]
Oh, oh, that would be nice!
no subject
No, down, down. ] Oh. Right. No flying. [ Hrm. She looks Flandre up and down. ] I guess we could walk?
no subject
[--hey wait up I DON'T UNDERSTAND]
Did they take your flying away, Meiling?
[She's starting to bristle a little bit.]
no subject
no subject
...oh.
[Anger deflated.]
Will that not work, anymore? You look smaller now, Meiling.
[No Flan you just got taller by like three feet at once.]
no subject

['kay she'll be jumping into Meiling's arms now as soon as she finished talking. Maybe a bit before.
...man this must look really weird. You're not tiny anymore, Flan!]
no subject
And Patchouli once or twice. Ever.
Still, she holds on tightly. ] Ready to go?
no subject
[It felt a bit odd this time, sitting crosswise like this; even though Meiling carried her like this all the time, her feet dangled down so much they almost felt heavy.
But looping her arms around Meiling's neck was much easier--she didn't even need her wings to anchor her in place. Not...that she didn't miss them, but!]
I am, Meiling!
[She rests her head on the gate guard's shoulder once more.]
...am I that big, now?

A little bit, Meiling.
[Or a lot of a little bit. Though at the moment, Flandre as occupied by peering over the side at the ground going by below.
...it didn't look so different, from high up. Everything seemed to have gotten equally smaller, now. Maybe things were still blurry, the way things in the distance got eventually, but...
...no, it wasn't so bad. Meiling was here. A big, strong presence that made her feel all warm and safe.
Flandre giggled again, but more softly this time; she stopped looking around at the scenery and instead nestled back into her guardian's arms.]
