Mission: 003
-Dynamo had become very cross with recent events... in the ways of various pranks pulled on him. He despised water, ever since his systems seemed to glitch when struck by a water based attack. So when he was struck multiple times with water spells, or traps, or... hoses... water balloons, he became sorely annoyed. It didn't help either when his hair was changed into rainbow colors as the result of falling in a kiddie pool of... rainbow water.
That boggled him a bit... but then someone shaved it all off when he was doing that sleeping thing that humans do. He wasn't a happy camper.
When he awoke, back in his bed, he grumbled and began to go about his daily morning routine. Upon fetching the paper he spotted, a package! Opening it, he was startled when his frame was reverted back into that reploid body of his. Of course he hit the door frame because he wasn't expecting such a thing to happen...
At least he had his hair back.-
Action: Around town!
-One fairly tall reploid is now stalking the streets. If he recognizes you from the pranking earlier in the week, it's best you steer clear of him. If you're one of the few to have crossed his path when he was a normal human, feel free to notice his taller, armored frame!-

Oh! Oh, hey there! Hi! Oh!
[Was that another CAST? Could it be?]
no subject
Were you addressing me?
no subject
Yes, I was! Mayfield doesn't see a lot of armor like yours. Or like mine.
[When she talks, her voice has a slightly artificial "echo". And she, herself, is wearing close-fitting futuristic-looking armor. One may possibly draw conclusions.]
Where are you from, if you don't mind me asking? Are you from Coral? Or the Gurahl system?
no subject
I never thought about that... eesh, if something happens to me here, who's going to... repair me...
Eh, small details. I would love to answer that, but that data seems a bit... blocked. ... b-but I am from Earth. ... Coral? Gurahl system? I'm sorry I don't know what you're talking about...
no subject
There are people working on ways to repair us. There are a few scientists here. It'll be alright.
...oh. [Another one from Earth. Always Earth. Her brightness just about extinguished entirely.] ...that's alright. No one usually does. But... it's nice to know that some Earths have artificial lifeforms, too.
no subject
If there are a few scientists, then I'm sure each of them has their own way of working on their own mechanics.
Hey, look, if it makes you feel any better, I'm the only one of my kind here...?
-As far as he knew.-
Sorry if I was a disappointment to you.

[She trails off, then passes a hand over her face. No, this wasn't helpful, was it? She ought to be helpful. And less of a downer to this possible new friend.]
It's alright. You're not, you're not... I'm sorry that I made a fuss about it. I'm not quite alone... I have a co-worker with me. Still... it would have been nice to talk to someone from home.
[A smile comes back to her face, less electric but still earnest.] ...I'm Dakki Sigal. [And she extends her hand.]
no subject
-He took her hand in his own and gave it a firm shake.-
I'm Dynamo. I guess I shouldn't be too worried about any damages caused to myself. I don't go rushing out into pointless danger should it arise. Guess you can say, I look over the situation.
Now from what I've learned from you so far, is you're lonely. I'd like to say you get used to it, but that's hardly fair on my part. So... how'd you like to have someone around, just to talk to?
no subject
[But there were still matters of moderate seriousness to cover, seeing as they had already been brought up...] It's good to be cautious. Do you have any sort of auto-repair system, Dynamo?
[Then she stifles some laughter. Lonely? She wasn't l.... well... maybe a little. So many friends had been permanently droned. The days were not as full as they once were.] A person does get used to being lonely, but what's the use of that when you can make friends? I would like someone around to talk to. Someone that, apparently, I have a few things in common with. As long as you don't mind talking to me.
no subject
Sure, I don't mind talking to you at all. Though you've brought up a good point... I can't seem to turn on my ARS... uh, auto-repair systems.
-Poor fellow. Hasn't regained all his systems yet.-
I mean... without that, it's no better than being stuck in that flesh body. Guess some of those people I talked to, weren't kidding about this place.
no subject
[The shock of it is quickly giving way to obvious anger. There's a tension across her shoulders and a stiffness to her posture and her hands are balling up...]
...Mayfield. It's Mayfield. I don't know why I'm even bothering with why. Hmph.
no subject
Town's probably scared.
no subject
[She looked confused for a moment. Just a moment. Oh, he was confident, that was definitely a look of confidence.]
Scared of you? You're a force to be reckoned with, mm?
[She wasn't skeptical. She was sort of... excited-sounding.]

I guess you've regained your normal body, then...that's good. Great, even.

-Well, he didn't seem too happy.-

(As if it wasn't obvious. He's asking out of curiosity and courtesy.)

-He sighed.-
