Mission: 003
-Dynamo had become very cross with recent events... in the ways of various pranks pulled on him. He despised water, ever since his systems seemed to glitch when struck by a water based attack. So when he was struck multiple times with water spells, or traps, or... hoses... water balloons, he became sorely annoyed. It didn't help either when his hair was changed into rainbow colors as the result of falling in a kiddie pool of... rainbow water.
That boggled him a bit... but then someone shaved it all off when he was doing that sleeping thing that humans do. He wasn't a happy camper.
When he awoke, back in his bed, he grumbled and began to go about his daily morning routine. Upon fetching the paper he spotted, a package! Opening it, he was startled when his frame was reverted back into that reploid body of his. Of course he hit the door frame because he wasn't expecting such a thing to happen...
At least he had his hair back.-
Action: Around town!
-One fairly tall reploid is now stalking the streets. If he recognizes you from the pranking earlier in the week, it's best you steer clear of him. If you're one of the few to have crossed his path when he was a normal human, feel free to notice his taller, armored frame!-

What kind of missions? While it goes completely koltova-crap crazy here every so often, the rest of the time it's pretty boring.
[Then she did a take, pulled her hand away from her hip, and realized just how much dirt and grass her rear half was covered in.] ...ugh!
no subject
Sorry... As for missions? Eh, what are some of the things you're used to?
-He could fake being civil.-
no subject
[She absently tries to brush some of the grass away, but it's just smearing it around on her nice silver-white armor. It's more annoying than embarrassing, apparently. However, she soon gives up completely.]
...missions? Most of what I had been sent to do involved clearing out SEED-infected hostiles. There was one mission spent investigating rogues on Moatoob and another few on Parum dealing with culling the distova population... but mostly? SEED.

Well I'm sure we can think of something.
no subject
The SEED are some sort of rapidly-reproducing parasitic alien life form. They'll infect and mutate living creatures. They can infest and corrupt computer systems. We're just barely managing to hold them back.
...well, if something horrible goes rampaging through the streets, or some crazy person starts summoning demons in the church again? You'll be the first guy I call. [And she grins!] So what do you...
[..wait. Does she really want to ask him "what he does", as a mercenary?]
no subject
-He finished the sentence for her.-
The better question is, what won't I do? Your SEED problem sounds complicated. More so than what I'm used to, at any rate.
no subject
The SEED problem is and isn't complicated... they arrive, you purge the area of them. But there always seems to be more. And we still need to find their exact source, and handle that.
What're you used to? You mentioned something about "Mavericks" and a virus...
no subject
If the task if feasible... I'll do it. If not, then I turn it down.
-It was... a half truth.-
"Maverick" is a term used on other reploids that have gone mad due to a virus that infects their systems. ... in rare cases, acting out against the humans leads the same status, even if you were acting on your own will. Guess I've seen it happen a few times, here and there. They weren't... necessarily harming anyone, but in the long run... maybe? Who knows?

[It was the rest that put a thoughtful look on her face. Dakki was silent for a few moments after he explained. And when she spoke again, her voice was softer.]
Free will's only a crime when the manufactured have it, isn't it? A virus should be cured, if possible. Not hunted down. But... that's the risk you take, when you choose to create life. That it might not do what you want. Don't you think?

[She turns herself away, knowing she's getting worked up and knowing she's probably going to make a mess of the whole conversation. Still...]
There's maintaining the safety of innocent people, and there's.... I'm not even sure what that is.

I shouldn't judge. It's not my world. Half my life, I was treated like a tool under the thumb of the Hunter's guild, and the other half I was free to live on a planet ruled by CASTs, where the humans and newmans and beasts were oppressed. No one ever seems to get it right.

-Though he has no "friends" back home. Though he could continue telling half truths.-
no subject
[She shifts around slightly, and looks back at him over her shoulder.]
I think I might have wound up "freelancing", too, in your position.
no subject
Oh yeah? Why's that?
no subject
[And that's about all that she had to say about that. She turns back around, a proper smile on her face now. Whatever was bugging her, it's either not bugging her anymore... or she's holding it in.]
Maybe I should get going. I am pretty dirty.
no subject
Alright. Just remember, keep your cool in the heat of any battle. Or you'll become a victim as well.
no subject
But she'd rather have his friendship more, for now.]
And you try not to get yourself hurt until your auto-repair gets reactivated.
[She gives a nod and a wave, and starts on her way.] Take care, Dynamo!
