Second Sunset ★ Not sure what to make of this...

Action 1 High School

[During passing time, Roxas continues to sit and stare vacantly at one of the tiles in the ceiling, absent-mindedly twirling his pencil. He hasn't even realized it was time to switch classes. He seems to be in deep thought, as if tossing ideas around in his head, or trying to figure out a puzzle that has several pieces missing. He'll occasionally mutter  things like 'That doesn't make sense.', 'How are you suppose to handle...', or 'Why would alcohol...'  He doesn't even notice you coming up to him.]



Action 2 Make-out Point

[Roxas returns to his usual spot at sunset, the highest place in Mayfield. Although he didn't come here every day anymore (it was too cold for that), he still showed up when he had a lot on his mind. It was the perfect quiet place to just sit there and relax. He may have a lot on his mind, but if you pass by he'll give you a small smile or a wave.]

[It goes unnoticed for a heartbeat, but then Roxas leans back in surprise.]

Uh. ...Hey?

The class is over, I guess you need to change room.

[Roxas blinks then starts glancing around the room rapidly. When did that happen?]

Oh. Uh... yeah, thanks... [NOT embarrassing. Don't mind him as he shoves his stuff into his backpack.] That would probably help, wouldn't it?

You know where you have to go to, mate?

[Yeah, Roxas, you looked THAT spaced out.]

Yeah, I do... er... what period is it?

[Regular champion.]

Sorry, I was just lost in thought... [Didn't mean to stay that long in your seat buddy.]

[Yeah, seeing you to your next class now because what if you collapse or space out again on your way there]

[Next class? Fourth period... that was... Math. Right.]

Algebra. [And now that he has all his things in his bag, he's going to be surprised that you're following, and will give you a blink of confusion.]

I have the same way, and you're too much of an airhead to let you go alone. [Giving him a grin.]

[Sara recognizes her not-brother in the hallways, and she'll go up to him and give him a gentle nudge since he seems to be distracted.]

Hey. What's wrong?

[He came close to teetering into the locker, but caught himself in time. Man he was out of it. Roxas smiled at his not-sister and gave her a playful nudge back.]

Hey Sara. Just... kinda confused...

Confused about what?

[hasitmemorized]

Well... When people get drunk... They act differently, right? But it's still them, so, what they're doing is still what they wanna do... right?

[He is so out of his depth on this one.]

[sara_mudou]

...Yeah. I guess so. I mean, it's supposed to lower their inhibitions. I wouldn't really know, though. I've never been drunk. [She frowns worriedly.] Why? You're not thinking of doing it, are you? You shouldn't, Roxas! It's bad for you to drink too much!

[hasitmemorized]

Wait, what? No! Nonono. [He waves his arms in front of himself defensively.] One of my friends was drunk, and was acting a little weird. Not me.

Good! [She returns to the topic at hand.] Wait. Weird how?

[A troll girl is coming up behind him. She's got her hands in her pocket and she's actually looking kind of down. But when she spots the stranger, she forces a grin on her face.]

Heeeeeeeey! Man, this is my solitude spot. And if you're here its pretty hard to be solitary! What am I supposed to do now?

Sorry? I dunno, but it sounds like a personal problem to me. [Said with a smile though.

Well, since you've been so generous and apologetic in your quips, I guess I'll be willing to share the spot! Your generosity is spreading!

[Funny, he doesn't recall saying sorry.]

How kind of you. I suppose, in my own generosity, I wouldn't mind sharing my ill-gotten gain. [He says as he pats a spot next to him.]

Hah, I really do have all the luck when I keep running into all the nice squishy humans!

[Dropping down next to him.]

Define 'squishy'.

All humans are definitely squishy on the outside! So easily killed. Being a human here was the woooooooorst.

But then some humans are total squishy softies on the inside. Always friendly and wanting to help everyone and do the right thing. Evidently these humans are rare, but I keep meeting them.

Ah, but we're only squishy on the outside if you can touch us. [A grin.]

Hmm... I suppose you should count yourself lucky then? [Not really seeing the connection with himself though. She must mean the physical part.]

Lucky, ha. I guess so.

... [Was it just Roxas, or did that reaction seem slightly... off?]

Surrounded by too many squishy-humans?

Ha! No. I've only ever met four humans before I came here.

But one is reeeeaaally squishy!

[Hey Roxas, Rin isn't exactly paying attention to this science lecture either, so he's going to throw a paper ball at you. It probably hit you in the head, and there's a really awful drawing inside of it.

[Well that gets his head out of the clouds. Opening up that piece of paper gets the most bewildered look out of Roxas. What. Was. That. Now he was forcing down laughter.

Roxas tosses another piece of paper at Rin: Wow you suck at drawing.]

[Hope was still exploring all around Mayfield, make out point had been the one place he hadn't checked out yet. ]

This is the best spot to check out the sunset.

[Walking up to the top of the hill he'll take a seat in the grass a little bit away from Roxas.]

Do you watch the sunset often?
