1st Code [Action] [Warning for Fate/Extra spoilers in comments!]
[Action - 505 Ricardo Street]
[Hakuno practically jumps out of bed when the alarms blare out across town. Alarm floods her first... but then, confusion. It seemed like just a second ago that, with adrenaline still pumping through her after the final battle, she had reached out, fingertips an inch away from the the Moon Cell...
... And then she woke up here. But... where was here? Was this some other construction by the Moon Cell?
Only one way to find out! She slid out of bed, exiting the room and looking around. Is this... someone else's house?]
Hello? Is anybody here?
[Action - Outside]
[Some time later, Hakuno is dressed and outside, looking up at the midnight sky, inky-black and dotted with stars.]
Huh... I almost forgot what this looked like... [Her voice doesn't sound wistful or contemplative of anything like that... she's simply stating a fact. She was so used to the strange digital sky surrounding the school, or the harsh artificial sun of the various levels of the arena. But this... this was different.] ... Considering everything, though, I guess that doesn't really mean much.

action;
[ Excuse you Hakuno, but Saber is her Servant. Someday. In a route she doesn't get to experience. ]
Naturally.. I just can't believe I was beat. That means I should actually view you with more respect than I would with any new blood here.
action; [1/2]
action;
action;
Right, right. Come on, let's hurry.
action;
Here we go... [She steps into the house, holding the door open for Rin.]
Saber was here earlier, so you don't have to worry about sneaking around.
action;
Thanks. [ Stepping in, she'll rub at the side of her arms to try to warm up. ] Saber was? Really?
[ Moving in on her dream Servant already. ¬.¬ Weirdo works fast................. ]
So what did Saber tell you about this place?
action;
Yeah. She didn't tell me much... [Considering they were both too busy crying and clinging to each other.] Just that this town is called Mayfield, and we're all trapped here with no way out.
[She says all this as she heads upstairs, towards the bedroom she woke up in.]
action;
That's about all she told you? That doesn't seem like her to be honest, but maybe she thought it better if you heard it from a more educated source such as myself. [ Bounding into the bedroom, Rin will waste little time in plopping down on her bed as her seat. ] Well, guess I should get the bad stuff out of the way. Whatever made you special is gone, you're completely human now and if you die, chances are you'll just wake up the next midnight with nothing wrong.
action;
... It's strange. None of that really surprises me. I mean, the only thing that should have set me apart from a normal person was my status as a Master... but there were a lot of them, so I never really felt special. And seeing you again kind of dulled the shock the death thing. [She goes to take a seat next to Rin.]
Is there anything else?
action;
Wha-? [ A lot of them? That's incredibly strange to Rin as she tries to think over it, the confusion of the situation starting to overpower her. Between the lack of sleep she's had and the loud sirens in the background, the whole thinking thing is becoming a challenge. ] Seeing me again..
[ With that, she gives a sigh. ]
I guess I should get the least disappointing news out of the way. I'm not who you think I am. Well, I am Rin Tohsaka, but I'm not at the same time.
action;
... What to you mean? [That would mean that she's the real Rin, right? Not the digital avatar, but the one in the real world. But... she'd still be the same...] You look and act exactly the same. How can you not be Rin?
action;
[ How she can even say that in as calm of a tone as she can is unbelievable. ]
I don't even know why I let you hug me.
action;
[It's such a stupid reaction, when something like that is dropped so suddenly. But... she doesn't know what to say. To see Rin - someone she came to greatly care for - alive after dying at her hands, only to be told that she's not really her Rin... it's like ripping open a fresh wound.
She seems to deflate a little, and it takes her a moment before she can look at Rin again.] But... you look like her. Sound like her, act like her... how can you not be Rin?
action;
[ A pause. ]
Sorry about pretending earlier. It's pretty cruel of me to do that. I was too preoccupied with trying to get as much information as I could out of you.. because after people find out, they tend to shut up. Then I never get to hear about all of the things I might have done in a different place.
action;
No... it's fine, really. It's my fault, for thinking the dead can come back to life. I know it's possible here... but everything happened back home. Things don't work the same back there. [She turns her head so she can look at Rin more easily.] Even if you're not her, you're still really similar. And it's okay if you don't want to, but... I'd like if it we could be friends.
action; 1/2
People who are dead.. they show up here too. For example, my Lancer killed himself to save the life of another Rin Tohsaka, but he's here. So you shouldn't be surprised if people you thought were dead come back. [ Heh. ] Maybe the Rin you like might show up instead. If she had you as a friend, then she must have been something.
[ Maybe, Rin thinks to herself, she can show up and replace herself. Then everyone here would be better off with a different variation and she wouldn't have to worry about hurting anyone else ever again. Kicking her legs in an idle manner, she forces herself to continue. ]
You don't really want to be friends with me. I've never really been good at that. Arisato-kun tries too, but I don't treat him well. Shana-chan as well.. she tries, but I never really do anything for her either. Rider.. Sakura.. Shirou.. all of them too.
action;
Regardless, it's my duty now to inform you of this place and everything that takes place here. This is Mayfield, a prison based off a town in the 1950's. I say prison because that's essentially what this is. No matter what was happening back home, we are stuck here and there's no way to leave. If you die? You just wake up the next day. If you disobey the rules? Then you become one of those weird idiots that wander around. They are called drones and you probably haven't seen any yet since it's so late at night.. People you thought were the people you knew probably aren't. In fact, I may not be the Rin you know, but tomorrow I could be. People return sometimes and they remember things differently. They never.. really remember what has happened here. [ She sounds almost plagued at the thought. ] You can't stay away from the house for more than a few days and you have to attend school every few days as well, those are all part of the rules.
Geez, if I didn't give away my write-up so carelessly, I would give it to you. Trying to remember everything off the top of my head is frustr---OH!! Don't ever drink the milk the milkman delivers. Please.
action;
[She says this so Rin at least knows she wasn't letting all that information in one ear and out the other, but she doesn't let the previous subject slide. She stands as well.]
And you may not think you're good with people, but I know that's not true! The Rin I knew helped me, even though I was her enemy. Just like you are now, she helped fill me in on the rules and workings of the Holy Grail War when I didn't have any memories of it, when she could have easily left me to fend for myself. Sure, she was brash, a little harsh, and yelled at me a lot... but I know she was a good person under that. In... [She pauses, the painful memories of Rin as she was fading away resurfacing.] In her final moments, she definitely proved I was right.
From what I've seen so far, you and her are nearly the same. And that means that definitely must be true for you as well! So... what I said still stands. I want to be your friend.
action;
[ When the other girl stands before her, Rin's intimidated enough to take a step back. It's strange to her - to see someone standing so boldly up against her. After all, Rin's so used to lashing out at people and keeping them at a distance.
This girl though.. she doesn't back down when Rin strikes out. ]
I suppose it can't be helped. Even in another world, I'm hopeless when it comes to helping others. Consider yourself under the protection of myself and my Lancer. He's kind of hard to miss, so I'm sure you'll see him around sometime. He has blue hair and wears awful looking clothing.
.. Right. [ Taking in a deep breath and holding out her hand. ] Then let's be friends. My name is Rin Tohsaka. What's yours?
action;
[She pauses, then laughs.] There's another similarity between you and the Rin I know. She was Lancer's Master as well.
action;
action;
I wouldn't call him worthless! You two were pretty tough, after all. It wasn't the final round when we fought, but... that was probably the second toughest fight of the whole war. [True story.]
action;
Were we? It's great to know we were just about invincible in your time. He's actually the best Servant I've ever had.. superior even to the legendary Saber class.
action;
The best... you mean you've had more than one Servant? Is that even allowed?
[It can't be. If it was, Rani could have just summoned another, right...?]
action;
[ With a nod, she gives a light laugh. ]
Surprisingly yes. The original Servant I summoned for myself during the Holy Grail War was an Archer. [ Before he went and gave his arm away. ] Then I was told in another world, I have made a contract Saber too. Lancer is my favorite though because he takes good care of me.
[ Her fondness for Lancer is starting to seep out oops. ]
