[Hakuno practically jumps out of bed when the alarms blare out across town. Alarm floods her first... but then, confusion. It seemed like just a second ago that, with adrenaline still pumping through her after the final battle, she had reached out, fingertips an inch away from the the Moon Cell...

... And then she woke up here. But... where was here? Was this some other construction by the Moon Cell?

Only one way to find out! She slid out of bed, exiting the room and looking around. Is this... someone else's house?]

Hello? Is anybody here?

[Action - Outside]

[Some time later, Hakuno is dressed and outside, looking up at the midnight sky, inky-black and dotted with stars.]

Huh... I almost forgot what this looked like... [Her voice doesn't sound wistful or contemplative of anything like that... she's simply stating a fact. She was so used to the strange digital sky surrounding the school, or the harsh artificial sun of the various levels of the arena. But this... this was different.] ... Considering everything, though, I guess that doesn't really mean much.

[Whoa whoa wait. She manages to take all this information in, but there's definitely something that sticks out there.]

... There's a Caster here too? [So much for that thinking, Bazett!] How many Servants are here? There's Saber, Rin's Lancer, and this Caster...

[She sounds uneasy as she speaks. Could the Grail War really not be over...?]

You know of the Grail Wars? Were you a participant?

[She notices the girl sounds uneasy.]

Right now, there is a mutual ceasefire agreement between most of the Masters and Servants. Many of them have even allied together to achieve the goal of escaping this town. It would be good if you could also hold to that.

Yeah... [She rubs the back of her left hand absentmindedly. There should have been two Command Spells there, but it was just as blank as it had been at the end of the preliminaries.] I... I won. Or at least... I thought I did. There shouldn't have been any Servants left. Guess I was wrong.

[Bazett's words do manage to put her at ease, it seems. It's not that she's scared of the fighting itself; she's fought and defeated all manner of opponents. But that means she'd have to fight Rin again, and she's not sure she could do that.]

People are pulled here from all sorts of times and places. Some Servants do not even come from the same Grail War.

[So far, she has seen Servants from the 4th and the 5th Wars.]

What War are you from?

I'm... not sure. [The open arena leading right up into the Moon Cell stuck out clearly in her mind. All those pillars, and the explanation behind them...] There were many before me. Possibly hundreds.

... Were you a Master as well? You seem to know a bit about the War. Or the Masters and Servants, at the very least.

[So this girl is probably from the far future.]

No, I was not a Master. I simply heard of the Grail through word of mouth. However, as an Enforcer, I have encountered things similar to Servant classes.

An Enforcer? What's that? Some kind of special police officer or something?

You could say that.

But are you not a magus, Kishinami? If so, you should already know about the Mage's Association and Sealing Designation Enforcers.

[Ah...]

To be honest... I don't remember. I can't remember anything from the time before the War started. But I was able to cast spells, so I might? Sorry...

[She raises an eyebrow at that. This girl seems to have some sort of amnesia.]

I suppose I will explain the basics to you. The Mage's Association is an international organization of magi devoted to controlling, concealing, and developing Magecraft. It acts as some sort of authority as well as academic body for magi. As one of its Sealing Designation Enforcers, I am charged with bringing in magi who receive a sealing designation, or an order to "preserve" their physical bodies because of their unique thaumaturgical properties. Of course, I also perform the more obvious task of dealing with disasters that threaten the world as a whole as well as magi who have gone too far in their research: those that would murder large numbers of people to gain their desired results.

[There is a threat embedded in her words. If Kishinami fits one of the above criteria, Bazett would hunt her down and kill her.]

[Hakuno may be dim about certain things, but she's fought a decent variety of people to pick up on a veiled threat.]

I see... so those people you mentioned before must be at the top of your list, huh? [She frowns a little, looking down at her blank hand. She tried to cast something, a minor stun, but... nothing.] I can't do much right now, but I'd like to help, if you need it. My Servant is here with me as well, so I'm not completely helpless.

Your Servant? Which one? There are many Servants here.

Saber! She's... [Hakuno pauses. It took a while to find out her Servant's name, and she was her Master. She shouldn't just blurt out Saber's true name to a complete stranger.] Ah. About this high - [She raises a hand a few inches below the top of her own head] - with blonde hair, usually tied up in a braided bun, and green eyes.

[... if only she knew how unhelpful that was.]

[She frowns. Arturia clearly stated that her Masters had been Kiritsugu and his son. And here, she doubtless had another Master.]

If she has already regained her Servant body, then I believe that she is already contracted to somebody else at present.

[And that wipes any hint of a smile off her face as quick as a flash of lightning.]

She... what?

In terms of prana, she has probably already contracted to another Master. If she has regained her Servant status, that is. However, given the former relationship between you, she will probably still consider you a person to be protected.

Oh. Well... that's good, at least.

[She doesn't sound too convinced. It's true that Saber still cared about her; their tearful reunion said that much. But all those passionate speeches, the true joy Saber seemed to feel in fighting by her side... was that all gone now?]

King Arthur is a knight. I doubt that she will abandon you so easily.

[Even if she bears no memories of a girl who would become her Master in the future.]

[Wait what. ~~Oh thank god crisis averted~~]

... King Arthur? That's not Saber.

She is the only Saber of that description that I know of...

[Unless she is talking about that other Saber?]

So there's... two identical Sabers walking around this town... [She's not too surprised to hear that there's another Saber. Hell, the final battle of her Holy Grail War came down to her Saber versus Leo's Saber. But for them to look exactly the same...

And both of them are even genderswapped rulers. Haha wow this is really throwing her for a loop.]

Ugh, this is going to get confusing.

[She shrugs.]

As long as you are able to tell them apart, that should be fine. After all, as her partner, you should be able to recognize her easily, right?

[Hakuno nods.] Yeah. I'm sure I will.

... Out of curiosity, what's this other Saber like? Do you know?

She is an honorable knight. From my conversations with her, it seems that she is a very helpful and protective person. I must admit--she is more modest than I had expected. Of course, as a Servant and a legendary hero, it seems that she is very strong as well.

Heh... I definitely won't have a problem telling them apart, then. There are some similarities, but it also sounds like they're pretty different.
