Something's on this boy's mind today, and it's best that he isn't where anyone can find him while he thinks things through. Or he hopes he can't be found. It'd be just his luck if that happened anyway... ]

I need driving lessons. I can pay you, or tip you, or whatever you want to call it. I thought that if it came down to it and I needed to use the "family car" for any kind of emergency, I'd better be able to drive it without ending up in a ditch or wrapped around a tree.

It's valuable enough to the drones. It's just an offer. No one has to take that, but I don't know what else I can do to compensate people for the time.

At any rate, I doubt there's much chance that you'll damage the car. Driving isn't dangerous as long as you stay focused on what you're doing.

I'd rather hammer out something more concrete than that. It can be a barter. I can do someone's homework, or chores, or clean their pet. Whatever is immediate and not something they might not be around to cash in on later, because I hate being indebted to anyone like that.
