2nd Pill: Fumbles and Apologies

[Phone: Morning| Unfiltered]

Good morning everyone! Um.

It's a little late, but I'd like to apologize anyone and everyone I was untoward to. That was rude, and I apologize for my conduct. That...really was not something I meant to do. Truly.

But! I would like to let it be known, as there are troubles that happens: I'm a combat medical specialist in my world. I don't have my powers right now but...I do know my way around general medical practices. It's a little difficult, seeing how I'm considered a child here but...if anyone knows a way I could work in the hospital, that would be great. If they don't, that's fine too! I'd just like to help.

With...anything really.

[Action A: Mayfield General store]

[The little shinigami seems to be frowning, and politely puzzled as he looks for something. What it is...well, you'd have to approach him to know what it is.]

[Action B: 852 goldberg street]

[For those of you who pass on by, you might notice the tiny man cleaning up. It's nothing much really; cleaning up the windows outside, sweeping up the dust that's on the porch. He likes to have things nice and clean. For those of you who come by later, you may notice him in the garden. There's a pile of what's weeds and the other is...flowers? How bizarre.]

[Action C: Jonathon's tools]

[Again, he's looking through all the tools assorted within the store-but he's in the gardening section. What could the little guy have in mind...?]

[Action D: Mayfield High]

[Someone isn't really paying attention to what the drones have to say. Big surprise there, for all the not!kids. But he seems to be engrossed in a few choice materials, mostly on biology and first aid. Hmmmm. Wonder what that's all about.

Yeah, no problem. I mean, Mayfield volunteered me to work there, but I don't think that doesn't mean they won't take willing volunteers either.

Didn't have a choice. It's my "job" here.
soulless_soldier: (your move)

It doesn't matter. I'd just rather a paying job at somethin' I'm good at, than this.

Not unless it's for non-drones. The rest all file me into the "helpless girl" category 'n' think I'm better off in a job like at the hospital, or a waitress or somethin'.

[She huffs. Might even be hard to tell it was a girl on the phone, had she not said otherwise.]

Try tellin' that to the drones here. And I thought people back home were bad.

Nah, it's just that people back home pretty much think the same thing of girls, 'course not so... [She pauses, searching for the right word] harshly? Still, to get work I usually passed myself of as a guy. If people ever thought otherwise, they never said anythin' to me.

sorry for the delay ;3; on hiatus/slowatus

[personal profile] soulless_soldier 2012-02-29 06:42 pm (UTC)(link)
It IS unfair. People just think women oughta be takin' care of their houses 'n' kids. I just don't have an interest in that.
soulless_soldier: (dramatic action)

Now if ya could only tell the guys in charge of this place that.
soulless_soldier: (what you say)

Yeah, tell me 'bout it. Bein' a "kid" on top of bein' a girl is even worse.

Yeah, there's ways around 'em. You just gotta be smart about it. Like, if I need stuff at the hardware store, I just tell 'em it's for my "dad" and I'm running errands.
