[Marvelous balanced the small package in his hands. He frowned at it as he examined every inch. It was like the box that his clothing had come in, but this one he really had no clue. He sets it on the living room table.]

Only one way to find out....

[He slowly peels the packaging apart, and peering inside, just in case something inside is insidious in nature. But, a familiar glint inside makes him plunge his hand inside. He pulls out the small red figurine inside, and then the larger phone-shaped object underneath.]

Looks like this Christmas thing was good for something.

[Action: Downtown]

[Marvelous is roaming the streets, flicking his Ranger key open and closed. If this is here, then the rest should be somewhere else. Come bug him if you wish.]

[Examines it. It looks like a henshin item to her. Somewhere, Superhero Time is flashing in her head.]

It looks simple enough.

Appearances can be deceiving.

[He types in the code to call the Galleon. He has great doubts it'll actually show up, but he wants to try anyway. He waits as the call finishes. His doubts are quite correct.]

Hmph. The town must have some heavy signal jamming up. Either that or we're literally worlds away.

I take it that was supposed to connect to something then?

My ship. It has an autopilot that's supposed to home in on the Mobirates' signal. No idea what kind of range it has, but I'm sure it's limited to the same planet.

[He digs in the box again, just to see if any other Ranger keys showed up with it. One was quite limiting.]

Feh. It took me and AkaRed forever to find those keys. And now I have to find them all over again.

[And the Grand Powers he had at that. Just where were they? Still in the Ranger keys? Or elsewhere in spheres like Basco had?]

[He flicks the key into key mode.]

[Deftly plugging the key into the Mobirates, he felt the familiar tingle of the henshin taking place. He lowered the Mobirates and inspected himself.]

Everything looks good so far.

[Impressive. The suit reminded her of the generic Task Force heroes that were so prevalent in television and certainly not billed during Toei's Superhero Time oh no with a distinct theme in it.]

Pirate. I should have known. Red looks good on you.

[Or samurai...or animal-themed martial artist...or rhythmic gymnast...or etcetcetc...]

Not in the slightest. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that your motif proceeds into your transformation.

Looks like your friend's not the only one with hero mania...

I've watched enough hero shows to know there's a theme for each group involved.

My parrot, Navi. He can tell where the Ranger keys [among other things] are. Though, his prophecies are a little off.

That would be very helpful then if you got Navi back.
