[For what has been over a month, the house has been host to a drone. Mika's drone has been quiet and demure, a perfect housewife on top of her nursing duties at the hospital. Thankfully no one is at home when she snaps out of it, as no one is around to hear her screaming in horror as she realizes what's been done to her.

But when everyone gets back, they'll find Mika in a foul mood, having managed to avoid the flowers springing up by simply being too angry to notice.]

[B. Phone]

All right, what the hell have I missed? What day is it and how long have I been a drone?

[C. Streets]

[Mika is in a dark mood as she limps along, on a walk to clear her head from the left-over cottony feel of the droning. Ears flat and hackles up, she hardly seems to have noticed the explosions of color around her...yet.]

Ya been droned for a month, and that's all ya can say?

[She covers her face with her hands and makes a strangled noise before she can speak again.]

Yes. Hi Quinn, how are you? Apparently I missed all the excitement, but nobody's telling me what it was.

[She rubs her face.]

Sorry about that.

Well, it ain't good news. To be honest, better to be droned during all of that then be a victim of mad scientist surgery.

You know, I'm starting to think nothing will surprise me anymore here. Personally, I'd have liked to not experience what it's like to be a pod person, but maybe that's just me.

[technohippie]

Droning sucks, but there was people who were literally picked apart piece by piece, and sewn back together in ways that would make Clive Barker gag.

That bad, huh?

[She leans against the nearest piece of furniture to keep herself standing, chewing thoughtfully on a claw.]

Well, at least we found out that kind of thing definitely doesn't affect anyone who's droned.

Usually, yeah. I got spared, but I tried helpin' out some folks. Some of 'em got mechanical implants or prosthetics, things like that.

[wolfishsurvivalist]

[She lets out an explosive, mirthless laugh.]

Well shoot, I really missed out, then! [She slaps her right thigh, feeling where the flesh dimples even through the layers of her ridiculous dress.] I could've switched this for a leg that actually works.

[Shaking her head at herself, she sobers up.]

I shouldn't make fun of it though, makes me sound like an ass. How bad was it? I mean, it's one thing for people to tell me about it, but did anyone get put back the way they should be or are they stuck like that?

After about a week, people were put back to normal. If they lived that long.
