[001] what do you mean it's a "telephone"
1) Action, backdated to this morning (for 951 Beulah)
[Waking up isn't unusual for Garnet at all. Not surprisingly, she wakes up every day in mostly the same way. However, it takes her a nice, long, slow-dawning moment to figure out what's actually wrong with this picture.
Time seems to lag as she takes in the entire room, and her own self, in one extended glance, but it doesn't stop her heart rate from shooting through the roof.
Is this a dream? Was I taken from Alexandria? Was yesterday... just a dream, too?
Fellow house members will probably either be awakened by or made keenly aware of the frenzied, panicked footsteps going back and forth between rooms, accompanied by a girl calling out a handful of names over and over again.]
Steiner? Beatrix? Please, where are you?!
...Zidane...?
2) Action, out in town a few hours later
[By now, it's early afternoon. Garnet's chosen a set of clothes she's deemed tenable for now (though it still feels wrong, like she's unwittingly stolen them from someone else entirely) and has taken to getting the lay of the land now. This place is like a small kingdom as well, but it's only similar to Alexandria in core concept. Everything from the society to the technology to the layout of the area is foreign to her. She still can't decide if this city itself is just strange in its own right, or if she's the real foreigner.
Originally, the idea was that she'd walk around to ease her nerves a bit and see whatever was outside to see, but she seems to have already forgotten about that. Now, she's just wandering on a whim, staring mostly at the sidewalk in front of her and looking completely out of it.
...To the point where she's not really paying attention to where she's walking, and will probably wind up brushing against or full-out colliding with someone from how absorbed in her own thoughts she is.
Also, she's probably singing to herself while she walks, with such determination that even when she gets to the end of the song, she just goes back and starts from the beginning, over and over again.]

Geez, I'm so sorry....heheh....[Rubs his head and looks at the person he bumped into....
....oh, holy shi...] .......Dagger?!
[And yeah, he might look a little different, since Zidane isn't human and Mayfield takes away all your regains so he looks like a drone with the silly drone hair. This town really sucks]

Is this all just a cruel trick?]
...Zidane? Are you...?
[And he really did call her Dagger, she realizes excitedly after a moment of long, hard staring. Almost of their own accord, she brings her hands up tentatively as though to reach for him, but they wind up stilling about halfway there as she hovers between taking the chance and resisting what could just be another dream.]
Please tell me it's you...!

Uh....I was like this when I woke up. Apparently, they take all your stuff away. Items, abilities.....appearances...
I was told I would get them back. [And he hopes so too, because, boy, he looks ridiculous.]

This time, it's actions first, questions later. Dagger only waits about a second before jumping at Zidane and enclosing her arms around him. It's still him. It has to be him.]
Don't do that again...! Don't ever do that again! I was almost starting to think, maybe I'd just dreamed it all up...

However, the moment he saw her, there was no mistaking her, even though he never imagined that she could end up in this town as well. Her beautiful face, her wonderful voice...there was nobody else it could be but Dagger, the woman he loved, the woman he belonged with...
Slowly, Zidane wraps his arms around her to return the hug. When was the last time he saw her? At the Iifa Tree before he tried to rescue Kuja?
Of course, he had yet to let her know that he had survived the Iifa Tree....well, until now, that is. Did she just assume that he had died?]
Don't worry, it's me. The real thing.
Don't worry, it really is me.

...But... it is you. I know it is. The song, it really worked...!

That's what I'm still trying to figure out. There are a lot of other guys from other worlds trapped here too and most of them don't seem to know why they're here, either. [Although Dagger was one of the last people he expected to show up. 0_0]
Hey, I can't die that easily. Not when I've made a promise to someone.

[She smiles at his claim about how hard to kill he is. Or... how hard it is to just die, maybe. Either way, she can't help but agree with that in the best way.] I'm glad... for at least that much.
[But now comes the confusing part.] How long have you been here? [It can't have been more than a day or two... can it? How long has she been away from Alexandria before this morning...?]
