All across the nation, such a strange vibration
[ 1490 Kramden, 13 February, Early Morning ]
[ Botanical Agent Status: Inactive ]
[ Ilsa has had all manner of fresh herbs in vases for some time, so the mint in the kitchen is nothing new. The fact that she has more of it than usual prompts her into a planning stages for a party before the town messes with them again. She thinks. ]
Hm, we still have a few limes, but I can pick up more on the way home. Could use another bottle or two of rum, besides.
[ Phone, filtered from drones, 13 February, Afternoon ]
[ Botanical Agent Status: Minimal ]
I think it’s been long enough for moping about - I have limes, mint and rum. The first batch of mojitos will be ready about 6:00 this evening. Everyone is invited to drop by.
[ 1490 Kramden, 13 February, Early evening ]
[ Botanical Agent Status: All Systems Go! ]
[ There’s music on the hi-fi, and Ilsa has been busy mixing drinks and setting out bowls of nuts and pretzels. Since this morning, there have been daisies, carnations, iris and more mint appearing in the house (( your choice what scent hits your character ))
Ilsa greets everyone at the door by putting a drink in their hand and a kiss on their cheek. Minors get minty limeade and a hug, at least. ]
Glad you could make it!

[ Well, Basco wouldn't care of he got a no, though. He'd still show up if he felt like it. ]
I need some new earth-experiences, anyway.

Before Early Evening
Guten abend, schatzi. I've brought you presents for the party.
[From the top of one of the packages you can see the tips of roses, and a few snow-white daisy petals...]

[ She pulls him into the house, getting a good whiff of the roses as she puts them on the kitchen table. ]
Missed you.
[ Then she gives him a welcome kiss intended to steam his glasses. ]

Mmmm. You're gorgeous, lieb.

A bit before people start showing up
Maybe later he can sneak out to the garage and tinker a little more on that power adaption upgrade on the proton packs.]
Ilsa? I think you went a little overboard on the flowers. [He can feel a headache coming on.]
no subject
[ Yeah, she knows Egon well enough to not blame him for bouquets. ]
You want to try the mojitos?
[ She holds out a short tumbler with lime wedges and mint identifiable in the glass. Traditional for Ilsa, there is not an overwhelming alcoholic content, by the smell. ]

And tell John he's grounded.
[He settles into a chair and pinches the bridge of his nose. Just an hour or two, then he can escape without anyone noticing.]
no subject
I'm sure he'll take something like that seriously from me.
[ Ilsa steps behind his chair, placing a hand on his shoulder. ]
Headache? Want me to help?

[ She frowns, ] I'm pretty sure Egon wouldn't, either...
This could be bad.
no subject
See? No big deal. [yet.] Don't even worry about it, we totally got this.
no subject
[ She watches John a few minutes, and then shrugs. ]
Well, nothing immediate. I've made a pitcher of mint limeade for the ones not able to drink alcohol.

Nyaa! I'm here, I'm here!
[He looks around curiously, sizing up the company and the situation and the possibility of tasty treats or tasty bloody... then he remembers that he has a question for Ilsa.]
...What's a meowjitos?
no subject
[ Ilsa scoops him up and nuzzles him, purring. ]
Mojitos are mint, lime, sugar and rum. I can get you one, if you like!
no subject
Mint! Mint, I like mint! And sugar! And...
...and I've nyever had rum. I wanna have mint and sugar and rum! In a me...meojitos!
[He has little experience with spanish....yeah, that's the ticket...]
no subject
[ Ilsa carries him to the kitchen, and sets him on the counter. Putting the ingredients together in a bowl that matches the bar glassware, she chuckles. ]
This is sweet and tart all together, with the mint to tie them together, and the rum underneath it all.
[ Putting it all together, she puts it in front of him, petting him a bit as she says, ] Enjoy!

Hey, Ilsa! How's the classiest, prettiest lady in Mayfield doing today?
no subject
[ Nall gets kissed on both cheeks. ]
What do you want to drink, hon?
no subject
I wanna try one of those mojito things! I've never tried one before! I bet they're good! You like 'em, so they must be!
no subject
[ She's just going to carry him to the kitchen, skritching his ears along the way. When she gets there, she puts him on the counter, and gets one of the cut-glass bowls that match the bar ware to mix his drink. ]
