[Get out of the open. That's the first thing Tyve thinks of when she finds herself deposited outside the hospital. She can hardly believe the war zone Mayfield has become during her short captivity. She's visibly distressed as she sees bodies and shooting everywhere. Has the attempt to escape begun? She's running on adrenaline right now. She might try to get you to come with her when she thinks you're an ally. Or she might try to get away from you.]

2. [Action :: Feb. 2nd + Over the next Few Days :: Throughout Mayfield ]

[For better or worse Tyve still has the rifle given to her during the dairy raid. So she's running around Mayfield, ducking, rolling and doing the sorts of evasive maneuvers one tends to do during a battle in an urban environment. If you try to stop her, she might yell at you for being stupid for being in the line of sniper fire. Or she might point her gun at you. Or something else entirely. Luckily, while she's hallucinating that the rifle is loaded, it's quite empty at the moment.]

3. [ Action :: Over the next Few Days :: 727 Anderson]

[Tyve does go home everyso often. You're probably going to catch her currently on the roof of her house in a shooting position. This time however, she has real ammo as opposed to imaginary. It's hard to tell who's an enemy and who's an ally (And even that changes) so if you happen to be walking by and if she thinks you're too close, she might try shooting at you.]

((ooc: Tyve's suffering from hallucinations that Mayfield is a war zone and also partial droning. She'll be flipping between being against Mayfield or supporting Mayfield throughout. I don't intend for her to kill anyone this time around, but if you want to be injured by her shots, let me know. Otherwise, assume they miss or they're warning shots.))

[Getting up to the roof would be considerably easier if Wes's wings actually, y'know, worked. Instead they're mostly getting in the way and screwing up his balance]

[She makes an exasperated noise. How did he get as far as he did in his military when he's oblivious to the obvious conflict all around them?]

I'm defending our home as I have been doing continuously, Major. Sir, there's a war going on and we've got to hold the positions as best we can until we can move forward again. [Her hands tighten a bit on her rifle. She's gotten used to the smell of gunpowder, fire and blood in the air. The smell of war. And the noise too. But that doesn't mean she has to enjoy it.] Soon, we'll be able to get out of here. [She frowns, glancing at Wes.] And we can get those..Wings..Fixed.

[Luckily, it seems like Wes caught her in "Get out of Mayfield" mode.]

Look, I know there's some weird business going on but we haven't seen any sign of something we can actually fight.

[Okay, they probably should be careful anyway, but he still wishes for something so straightforward]

Did they operate on your eyes too? Look around you! [She doesn't mean to drop the politeness and the titles, but her frustration with Wes' inability to see what is happening seems to be growing.]

The drones are against us and even some of the people who don't want to leave! How can you say there's no sign when this town is burning? [She watches as a drone passes by the house harmlessly. Of course in hallucination vision, it looks like they're about to shoot at them. She sends out a shot. Really, it misses the drone and it walks off not even noticing, but in Tyve's vision the shooter has run off scared.]

[Her voice suddenly gets quiet.] Unless you want to stay here. [There will be angry words if that's the case.]

Of course I kriffing don't, but the drones haven't been doing anything but bleeding for a week now.

[Something is very, very wrong here. And he hasn't a clue how to fix it]

[Ranks be damned, she finally snaps at Wes, sounding less like a soldier and more like an irritated teenager.]

Of course they're bleeding! They've been shot or cut up! There's barely anything standing and what isn't is burning and the drones are trying to kill those of us who want to escape!

Burning? Nothing has burned since the dairy last week.

[He stumbles. Damn recurring dizzy spells.]

Maybe you should go lie down, clear your head.

[Who's that girl with all the ducking and rolling? Shepard calls out to her:]

Hey, you alright there? Is someone trying to kill you?

[Tyve freezes and whips around, pointing her rifle at Shepard. Had she been more cognizant, she would have recognized the woman as someone she might have seen before the Dairy raid. Instead she sees the enemy. An enemy trying to escape the town.]

You should realize by now that this rebellion is a futile exercise. Why must you people insist on still trying to escape?
