That awful moment you wake up outside the hospital after a bizzare experience in a recovery room... Okay actually no all things considered, Shiki really didn't have that bad of a time there. Sure it sucked no matter how you looked at it, but looking at some of the other "patients" in the room was all she needed to know she was one of the luckier ones. She actually did get some water to breathe in with her newly acquired gills so. Yeah, suck-ish but overall bearable.

Now that she's outside though, WITHOUT THAT HANDY DANDY BOWL OF WATER, things get a bit more complicated, which is why one of the following quite possibly happens to you!

A. There is some hurried and possibly frightening banging on your front door. Someone's in a bit of a rush...
B. Okay no screw trying to be polite about this she needs water now. You may find someone breaking into your yard or backyard or whatever has a water hose. She is also proceeding to seemingly shower herself, what with the way she's just SPRAYING HERSELF, in said hose. This was completely necessary alright!!

Life's hard when you have gills man...]

And finally, finally, after somehow managing to make it all the way back to her house, Shiki heads straight for the bathroom and gets ready to... fill the tub up with water. Nothing to see here housemates, let's all ignore the fact she came in soaking wet already in favor of the fact that she seems ready for an impromptu pool party.]

[There is a woman showering herself with a hose in his backyard. Gilgamesh pinches himself, thinking that it might be too good to be true. He had stopped eating his breakfast and rushed to the back yard when he heard a noise and had been greeted by this sight.]

[Scout's home after dying and reappearing yesterday. Problem is, he's suffering from some retrograde amnesia, and keeps forgetting things. For example, Shiki. Or the fact that he's not!married to her.

When she comes into the house soaking wet and marches up to the bathroom, he watches her with a raised eyebrow. He remembers Mayfield, though, and checks the photos to see her there. He'll follow her upstairs.]

[Whenever she feels like she's gotten enough water, she goes ahead to put the hose back. When she does though, she ends up spotting Marisa and calls up to her.]

Thanks. [AND OFF SHE GOES or as quickly as she can run while suffocating. Should he follow her he'll find her turning the sink on and. Dousing her neck with the water this is probably a bizarre sight to see but what else is new.]

Couldn't breathe without it. [Honestly these gills weren't even that bad they just made doing ANYTHING a hassle now.]

[Now she's going to jump off the roof, landing softer than she should from that height, and walk over to get a close looks at Shiki's neck.]

... yes really? [Well that's not the sort of reaction she was expecting to be honest, who gets excited at the idea of gills seriously... Also Marisa you're kind of getting in her personal space. (bah)]

...you could just make some kind of weird neck collar thing that constantly keeps water running over your gills.

... that'd actually be a good idea, yeah, but I got no idea on making things like that. [Maybe she could ask Touko though. (aha)]

I could probably come up with something like that. It'd be magic, ze. Which means it probably won't work all the time, but it's better than giving yourself hose showers all the time.
