08 - Hunt Feed Kill Repeat
[Around Town, Evening]
[The compulsion to kill is something that Natalie is very familiar with. Her Beast is a spiteful thing, clawing and snarling and demanding violence and blood at the slightest provocation. And while her night started off strangely, with her limbs having desires that were in no way congruent with her heart's, it wasn't long before her Beast was eager to go along with the wickedness. For violence took effort. Violence took blood. Each feat of superhuman strength and speed required an expenditure of vitae that left Natalie famished, and all too willing to drink the nearest living creature dry. She was quick to stop resisting Johnson's control. There's no use. There is only blood and feeding and death.
Natalie is a stealthy creature, one that can hide in the shadows and will herself to remain hidden. If you're her target, she's likely been stalking you almost invisibly. Magic senses, video cameras, a cleverly-tossed handful of confetti... they can all pierce the effect. If none of those are in evidence? The moment that she strikes and grabs to pin arms or tackle bodies is when she'll be very much present and in evidence. If you're a stranger? She won't say a word before trying to sink her fangs into your flesh and drink all your blood. If you're familiar? A friend, even? Maybe she'll shout a warning. No promises. The Beast and Ms. Johnson are calling the shots.]

Whether or not he's paying attention to his surroundings is hard to say, thanks to that mask.]

Aa-aah!
[Fully Obfuscated, she creeps along the grass and approaches Hajime from the side. If she goes unnoticed, she'll take a stab at his side with the hunting knife she had acquired. (Can a normal knife even make it through Kamen Rider armor?)]
no subject
But...wait. There. He'll pretend not to have any idea where the attack is coming from until the last second, at which point he'll twist away to avoid the attack, whipping around to face his opponent.]
...Natalie?
[(Going off some canon shrapnel damage he's taken, the knife would stand a chance of delivering a small cut and bloodying him a little if it hits one of his more lightly-armored areas, like an upper arm or leg, but she'd have to put some muscle into it.)
He's surprised enough by her being the one trying to kill him that he is likely vulnerable enough for that right now, by the way. This is a fight he really doesn't want.]
no subject
Hajime!
[And if that misses, she'll simply swing again, advancing relentlessly.]
I can't...! I'm not...! I can't stop this!
no subject
I know, I know!
[He's got his bow out now, using it to deflect the blows.]
What do you need me to do? I've been going around tying up people in vines...
no subject
He'd have little trouble deflecting her fast-but-clumsy swipes. And one of his deflects would smack her in the face, abruptly bringing her back around to her senses. In went the fangs, and around rolled her head.]
Wh...what?
['Tying up people in vines'? That was the last thing she heard him say. Not a bad idea. But would vines hold her? But he could...]
...stake me! Get a thick branch or... or something wooden, and... and stake me! Put it through my heart!
no subject
Stake you? In the heart? That sounds...rather permanent...
[He seems reluctant to obtain anything stake-like, and there's a note of sadness in his voice.]
no subject
I'm a fucking vampire! It won't kill me!
[She's still slicing and stabbing and harrying Hajime, still physically compelled to attack him, futile as the efforts may be.]
It'll paralyze me! Knock me out! Do it, Hajime, please!
[...and maybe she was being a bit sentimental about this, too. Who knew when there would come a day that she would want to be staked, that she'd care enough to have someone stop her if she snapped...?]
no subject
[Of all the times for him to have gotten distracted by emotions, of all things...yelling at him like that was just what he needed. Sort of a verbal slap to the senses, as it were.]
Hang on.
[He springs away from her and into the branches of that tree, disappearing into the leaves. There's a cracking noise, like the sound of something snapping. Hajime drops out of the tree, branch in hand, and rushes forward, making an attempt at staking her.]
no subject
When Hajime leaps away, she stops short and holds herself low, eyes wide and darting about. It's not much time to prepare, but enough. When he springs down and charges, she springs forward and swipes an arm in a hard forward block, to divert the staking attempt. Which gets her a fractured wrist, but buys her a few more seconds to try and take a bite out of Hajime. She's going for the less-armored inner part of his upper arm.]
no subject
But...wait. She's close, if he can just manage to get a stake into his free hand before he gets a little too drained. He's struggling to pull free and as he does so, transfers the branch between his hands. Good thing it's a long one.
Now that the branch is in his other hand, he'll try to stake her again.]
no subject
Which leaves her quite open to being staked. He's a Kamen Rider, no doubt inhumanly strong. It pierces her ribcage and chest, and she immediately goes stiff and dead. Her fangs withdraw, and if not caught, she'll drop to the ground.]
no subject
That did it, then.
[He sounds a bit uncertain, and he's trying to check on her.]
no subject
no subject
I'm going to try to take you somewhere safe, alright?
[Even though he doesn't know if she can hear him. He's going to try to bring her back to her own house and basement...and would use his own were Date not already down there and were there not a chance of running into his housemates. Showing up with what seemed to be a bloody corpse would undoubtedly lead to some very awkward questions, even if she wasn't bleeding from the actual wound.]
no subject
The basement of the house that she shared with Keith Goodman was perfectly set up to be light-proof. It was a good place to leave a vampire for an indeterminate amount of time, really...]
no subject
I'll be back to check on you later.
[Because being human is tough...and he needs something to eat and perhaps a nap after that blood loss.]
no subject
If only Natalie can.... get to it. ]
Oh Good God D:
At least it seemed to have a plan of some sort. Natalie had gone several houses over, crept through several backyards, climbed atop the roof whilst cloaked by her Obfuscate... and then bodly launched herself towards Garviel from the highest point that she could manage.
Her Obfuscation dropped almost immediately, because that's when she started to scream in incoherent, bone-deep terror at what was likely to come.]
